INITIATION is fundamentally an energy process, much like flipping the switch of an induction motor. Though all the ingredients required for MEDITATION may already be present, a certain energy must be applied to set everything into motion.
INITIATION is not about a bundle of instructions. Infact, in any initiation process, instructions are a kind of disturbance, we are still giving instructions because most people today are educated, everything has to be told, it must be printed these days. Their brains are full of words, not of life. So everything has to be verbal. INITIATION IS NOT A BUNDLE OF WORDS.
You have all the ingredients to be MEDITATIVE but it does'nt happen.
Why does it not happen?
Because this is the way the creation itself happened. If you go by TRADITIONAL explanation - one way or the MODERN SCIENTIFIC way - it's the same thing said in a different language.
And today they've made experiments where in vaccum state, if you apply a certain energy around it - not into it, around it - suddenly virtual protons & virtual neutrons will spill out. That means CREATION JUST BEGINS BECAUSE THERE'S ENERGY PLAYING AROUND. There is a beautiful story in the YOGIC TRADITION. Shiva... You must understand the word Shiva, Shi...va means that WHICH IS NOT. Appropriate description for SPACE. That which is, is physical creation. That WHICH IS NOT, is NON-PHYSICAL dimention of the EXISTENCE. So, Shiva means that which is not, Shiva was lying, his body spread across the cosmos, but He is not, he does'nt exist, He does'nt have a physical manifestation. Then Shakti, a certain dimention of energy, came & danced around him & then he came alive. Then he started spitting galaxies out of his mouth, this is most appropriate description of HOW CREATION HAPPENED - still spitting galaxies, new galaxies, it's contineously happening. Simply because a certain energy touched it.
Everything that was needed for creation was already there in him but he needed induction. So, initiation is a kind of an induction process.
Today if you go & sit in the Dhyanalinga temple, without instructions you can become MEDITATIVE.
At one point, when Adiyogi was transmitting yoga to the Saptarishis, his first seven disciples, he taught them all kinds of intricate things, but HE NEVER SPOKE. He simply sat there in an intoxicated stupor with his eyeballs rolled up. They sat there, seven of them receiving seven different dimensions of yoga, and this happened continuously for many months and years. All he did was sit there, seemingly disinterested in them.
Parvati asked him, “They are here, they are great sages. Why don’t you say something? It will be appropriate.” He said, “Ah, they hear me.” What he is telling her is, “Because of your intimacy, you don’t hear me, so I have to speak to you. They hear me.” He does not mean, “They hear what is happening in my mind.” He is saying, “The basis of my consciousness, they hear that, and that is all.”
Time does'nt matter at all, whether it's ancient or modern, it was Parvathi then who was close to Shiva and had to be told in words, rather the saptharishis heard Him without uttering a word and even today we have people who are close enough to Guru's physically but need instructions rather there are other group very small one, who could here with out a word being uttered...

After all these years, I'm now realising how stupid i was during initiation. To undo a lot of nonsense we generate, it's really a hard thing to do for a guru. It's his compassion that he's making this happen to everyone. 🙏🙏🙏
