Agar tumhe best performance chahiye toh light system install karo then required tools install karo else yes zorin is good.
I am using zorin os as my current primary os after watching your first video on zorin os, its overall working better than windows 10 on my older laptop but sometimes a little errors make me frustrated for fixing it manually but its fine, i mainly use it as learning purpose for cyber security, i use tools like nmap, gobuster, hydra, wireshark, ettercap, metasploit-framework,etc. and its works good, i not use kali, parrot and other hacking distros because they are debian based and a little error takes hours to resolve it manually and they also consume battery faster ,its better to use zorin os for new users shifting from windows cause its so much familiar and easy to use but new users search to find the refresh button like in windows which my friend and bros did😅
Firstly, ZORIN is Based on UBUNTU and UBUNTU is based on DEBIAN. Debian is the mother of ubuntu, kali, parrot, zorin and many more. Secondly, For cyber security Kali and parrot are the best due to their support and if you spend hours to deal with a problem then invest your time.
My suggestion use kali-netinst iso which is 500mb iso then install only required tools you need in its installation this could be a better approach. Because zorin is a os based for beginners who want taste of windows in linux and the real learning of linux is using sth dedicated for specific application.

I felt the same way too... I love his enthusiasm for Linux but the knowledge is quite lacking... He could look for pointers for his videos in proper linux content or may try to collab with an existing Linux youtuber... Zorin OS is no doubt a good distro but the some of the features which he was excited about in the video are existing Linux distros for a very long time and now Win11 has some features from linux Ex Workspaces.

As a ubuntu user i would like to say that if you want to game on linux properly without any error, you have to use latest ubuntu 24.04 LTS version as it is the version officially supported by steam and heroic. For gaming use only original ubuntu. I am saying with my experience!!
The reason is that zorin os still uses older ubuntu 22.04 LTS which may not have the latest vulkan driver needed to run games properly

Antix Linux or MX linux with xfce will be good for your PC specs. Linux will become easy to use as you use it on a daily basis. It will be a learning curve at the start but once you start figuring things out it becomes an exciting journey.

My suggestion: Nvme
They are way faster than sata ssd. The r/w speed is better in nvme so you have maximum file transfer speed, fast application loading and fast system boot.
option 1: if you have extra slot for nvme then buy a new nvme gen 3 or 4 ssd
option 2: if there is no extra slot then buy nvme ssd with external case so you can use it as external storage
Note: They are expensive so if you only need to store files and dont install os or anyheavy application then buy cheaper sata ssd from WD

else usb 2.0 port have max speed of 450Mb/s nearly equal to 40MB/s transfer
look your pc has usb 3.0 port or not (all modern pc have those but still check that)

Garuda is arch based distro and the looks is due to heavy customization of the desktop environment (KDE) you can customize any desktop environment to look like anything cool. The downside of this os is heavy resource consumption, unstable. Dont chose linux distro based on looks you can customize it in anyway you want. I'd rather suggest ubuntu or fedora if you're a beginner else explore arch linux minimal.

bohot acche se chalega, bas search kar lena online for tutorial aur almost sare software to chala sakte ho windows ke with a little bit effort !
Switching to linux = forget msoffice (only web version), forget adobe software.
ofc there are alternative like wps office, libreoffice and GIMP for photoshop but they are not advanced like ms and adobe products.
and the game requires compatibility layer like wine means you're tricking the game that its running in windows but its actually in windows so you dont get the maximum support in !!!SOME games
conclusion: Yes most software except from adobe and msoffice are not supported
else not 100% but 70-80% of games can be run in linux but you're using compatibility layer.

Bro tiny 11 is just windows 11 without bloatware and you will not get much better experience with it.
First it is not officially supported
secondly, the resource usage is lower than official windows 11 but still higher than windows 10.
If interested switch to linux or stick to windows 10. windows 11 sucks nowadays due to unwanted bloatwares, unwanted AI and extreme privacy concerns. Same in windows 10 switch to linux tbh

maybe your laptop is overheating so if you havent cleaned for a long then take to repair shop to get servicing of the laptop.
if not then try reinstalling windows after backing up important files in separate parition.

From your question you know nothing about linux so if you wanna learn linux start with beginners friendly distro and after that you can install kali or if you are curious to try kali then download kali-live and use it without installation.

unless you install unnecessary extensions. The security of a distro is based on its stability, updates not on desktop environment. Gnome is one of the most used desktop environment with regular updates and many more. but yeah installing unverified and unnecessary extensions can pose security risks.
