All Starbucks coffee is a rip off. Most other coffee places too. Just get a 10 dollar machine, some coffee grounds, a big thermos and you're good to go. Probably takes me 10 min each morning. Oh hazel nut creamer too. It's fuckin delicious
I used to work at Starbucks. It takes so long especially when there’s a bit of a line because they have a policy where two drinks must always be being made. So they’ll take the first order, make half of it then set it aside and start the order behind it then go back to the first one and finish it. And I know, it makes no sense.

Then she adds milk and cream, adding more volume. The amount of ice has a purpose, it isnt meant to trick you, instead it helps balance out the drink. She isnt "exposing" anything, shes doing the correct steps on making an iced coffee.

as a part time sb barista i confirm normal ice is 60-70% of ur drink💀 and sometimes i feel so bad for the customer that i secretly add a little more liquid haha
With Shaken espresso it’s good to add that much ice bc it melts when you add the shots. When customers ask for light ice, it melts so quickly after shaking it, there barely be any ice. -as a former barista. But that doesn’t mean I made sure to add less ice in every drink I made bc I ain’t scamming y’all of your money :p

@@Mansur256 The point is that when you buy hot coffee, the drink is filled to the top of the cup without ice, but with ice, the drink will be 80% ice and 20% coffee.
