    Trevor Noah needs more credit for being a fantastic interviewer. This was next-level shit. Gave equal time, asked tough questions, and was still respectful to the guest while being funny for the audience. Whatever your position on all of this is, that was a masterclass. We could use more of this on both sides.

Trevor was mature, concise and asked ACTUAL RELEVANT questions. He didn't attack her or push his own agenda onto her. MAC B I do know the difference. An interviewer is having a conversation that has to flow; whilst the interrogator is just extracting info. both however are supposed to get to the truth and read between the lines to understand the nuances of what the person is saying vis-a-vis their past record rather than accepting all statements for face value. The interviewer is just a little more suave in doing it . Trevor did well but failed to challenge this woman's version of the truth

      + missjessie1985 Her laughter seems weird and fake to me. I have no doubt that Omorosa knows exactly what she's doing, but I do not forgive her for defending the man she's now turned against. She let herself be used, claiming the man is "racial, not racist," and now that her time in this White House is over she's changing her tune and admitting what all of us knew from the start. She was smart to make the tapes as they prove that what she claims is true - including that she was offered a payout to keep quiet - but there's no way I'm buying her book or contributing to the self-serving mess she's made. As far as I can see, Omorosa and Trump are two peas in a self-interested pod. They deserve each other, and that is not a compliment to either of them.

      As a talk show Host, Trevor understands that the guest is there to promote/sell a product. In Omarosa’s case, she’s peddling a book, about her behind the scenes experience of working with Trump. She is presenting herself as a “whistleblower”. Trevor is allowed to ask, about the tapes that she’s releasing to help promote her book and the reaction from the White House/the President.
      The Journalist all come across like they haven’t read the book, because they start interrogating Omarosa about things that she covers in the book. She’s there to promote the book and it’s fair game to discuss the President Trump reactions/tweets and the tape recordings that she’s released.

Remember, when we first met her, she was crying while Donald Trump terminated her position, on national television! She was the gf/fiancée to famed actor Michael Clarke Duncan, who passed away while they were together. She gets fired, again, by Trump, from the White House, no less. And now, she is here promoting a book. Winner or survivor? Take your pick.

    Say whatever you want about Omarosa, but she has a sharp mind. Never gets rattled by anyone who interviews her. I liked how Trevor interviewed her and didn't attack her like Savanna on the Today show tried, but of course Omarosa was not having it and took control of the the interview.

    • @lizzichi86
      @lizzichi86 6 лет назад +1

      LiliSimon, actually Omarosa was really rude in that interview and wanted to go off on her own tangents. Savannah had limited time and needed succinct answers.

    • @cind8347
      @cind8347 6 лет назад +2

      She whipped Savanna around like a ragdoll. Savanna was so intent on finding fault in Omarosa instead of hearing about the corruption in the Whitehouse and the crazy antics displayed by the folks with ability to start a nuclear war. But racism is a funny thing.

    I never knew the woman's father was murdered, her brother as well. That certainly would destroy her mother and then she would be subject to those effects as well.
    I think she gets a lot of hate but she is who she is because she struggled and that's how she found her way out.
    Most people in the country who experience that never find a way out, most end up living miserably and then dying without ever becoming something.
    She's not evil, she is just playing a game and very well at that. The proof is in the recordings, she was steps ahead of every player the entire time.

    Omarosa has a very strong energy about her I've watched a lot of interviews with her and usually the interviewer is either squirming in their seat from being uncomfortable or stumbling over they're words. Trevor is the first interviewer whose body language is comfortable but he can't make eye contact for too long,, Omarosa is a force to be reckoned with

    I didn’t know much about Omarosa and this interview gave me an insight into her life. However, Trevor should have acknowledged and sympathized with her when she talked about her family tragedies.
    I also like the bit where she said that black people are not a monolith and I can also add that African people especially aren’t that either, we have different COUNTRIES, cultures, languages, religions, races, lifestyles and we don’t group think but good job y’all 👏🏽

Calling Omarosa one in the same as Trump is an insult. She may have flip flopped but she could have easily taken her 15k salary given to her after she was fired and sat quietly. Instead she chose to speak out. Albeit she is going on a book tour, that doesn’t take away from the fact that she is speaking out against that asshole. I’ve never hoped someone would be vanished as much as I wish he would. His sole purpose is to destroy this country. It’s appalling.
