Disney's Animal Kingdom! Tigers, Bats, First Halloween Merch, Wildlife Express Train & More

- Join me for a fun summer day at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park seeing so many animals, including bats, the elusive male tiger who was VERY active, birds, goats, pig, sheep and many more, in July 2023! We take the Wildlife Express train to Rafiki's Planet Watch, find the first piece of Disney's Halloween 2023 merchandise (code orange at Disney World!), visit the Conservation Station where you can pet goats, sheep and pigs, and get my sleeve chewed on a little by a goat, no big deal. We also see bats, tiger, birds and more on the stunningly beautiful Maharajah Jungle Trek, and talk about the lesser known backstory and theming, and visit the Otter Grotto where they are very active! I love to take in the atmosphere and hidden details of Animal Kingdom, one of the most beautifully themed parks out there, and also visit and learn more about their animals and programs. It was such a fun day, thanks for hanging out with me and the animals!

I’m glad you gave us a tour of the Conservation Station! I always wondered what it was like there. We’re always running around the park and never make the time to go there. Next time we’ll try to make the trip there on the train.
Same, I hadn’t been back there in forveerrrrrr, bc usually I’m just trying to do so much in the front of the park! But it’s worth a trip back there, it’s so neat and fun. Plus you might be your sleeve eaten by a goat, I mean, worth it 😂
Animals I've petted, tigers, elephants, giraffes, camels, llamas, hippos all the domestic animals. Got sprayed by a rino (you can shower but the smell lingers all day). A few days ago I took my grand daughter to meet some elephants and feed them watermelons. Elephants love watermelons. She got a once in a lifetime experience.

Hi SE I would love to go to Discovery Cove with you. Seeing your love of nature, I know Discovery Cove will blow you away! So many people go there and come away saying I’ll never go to another park again. It’s great during summer as long as it doesn’t rain all day. but it’s so different than anything else in Orlando.
That was nice Jackie. Everyone always does the same rides etc. It was good to see the trails for a change. I dont get to do that often because I have some difficulty walking far. Have a great day. ❤

I got a day off work today, so naturally the first thing I do is grab a coffee and a new Super Enthused 😁 AK is one of my favorite parks just to walk around and see all the things! it's so relaxing just walking the trails and seeing the animals, especially while drinking an iced vanilla latte 😋 And of course! we got our first Code Orange at Disney, we're getting closer Jackie! I can't remember the last time I went over to Rafikis on the train too. I always say I'm going to and never do. Apparently, goats find enthused people tasty and delicious there 😂 That was Fun! great plan for an early thunderstormy day 😉 And..fyi #AlwaysChooseCave at AK

I got a warning lick from a goat and immediately moved! Apparently one of them does bite if you get too close! Also, thanks for sharing your experiences with the pigs! They were taking a break when I last visited so I missed them!

Thank you for giving some love to the the Exploration Trails at Animal Kingdom. You should have included the animals in the Oasis and in the Tree of Life Gardens to complete the animal trails that everyone usually just totally skips to get to the big rides. People complain that Animal Kingdom is a half day park - it is if you skip all of the animals and shows. But when you slow down and enjoy the full park - you can't get everything done in a full day. Love the channel
I feel you, and I’ve shown the oasis animals a lot in past AK vids. I wanted to focus on the lesser seen stuff. But agree the oasis is so cool and so many little surprise animals in there! And also agree there is a LOT to do!! ESP if you see all the animals! Thank u so much!

It can be argued that goats are the best animal ever. I mean, they're the GOAT.
I have to say that when you take everything into consideration (rides/attractions, shows, food and theming), Animal Kingdom is my favorite Disney World park.
It really has been so hot and wet this summer!! Great time at AK Jackie! We chatted about cameras a couple months back, I just got the Sony ZV1-M2 and am loving it! Made me think of your recent camera hunt too, not sure if you’re still looking 😊
00:52 You say that like it's something to be discouraged - we're _always_ saying hello to the animals! 😂 Animal Kingdom is, was and forever will be our favorite of the four WDW parks. Even without the rides, the theming and the atmosphere is second to none. It's so easy to lose time just strolling along the trails looking at animals and water features. Dottie is definitely a pig of the people! We've always been fond of the petting zoo at Rafiki's Planet Watch, too. Although, we've never had a goat yell at us the way yours did 😝 Message received, sir! Great job getting those shots of the Tigers - we have always had rotten luck with the mighty jungle cats on the Maharajah Trek. Maybe the secret all along was to come during lunch or dinner hour, when they're hungry and pacing! 😉 Great vlog, Jackie! Thanks for sharing!

Hi, this is Holly. Many times at our Zoos that we visit I am able to engage the otters & penguins by holding a tissue or something up to the glass. I move back & forth & raise & lower the tissue. They follow along!! So fun!

I like the fact unlike other RUclipsrs. You show us things that probably doesn’t get shown. Not that they aren’t interesting just that. They like to stick to the popular bits of the parks. As they think that’s what people want to see. Which we do but also like to see lesser known things. That’s for me what makes you the number 1 RUclips travel vlogger in my opinion anyway.

Animal Kingdom is my favorite park. It's an absolute wonder to behold. The Tree of Life is the greatest work of art I have ever witnessed.

I loved that Halloween shirt! I wish they sold it online😢. My family and I have always said we thought Animal Kingdom was the hottest park and my husband, who is an arborist said it’s true because of transpiration, which is like the plants sweating so all that water makes it more humid… lol who knew 😂Love your vlogs!!

The Lubee Bat preserve is in my area, Gainesville, if you and Sam ever get up this way there is a lot too see. There is the Santa Fe Teaching Zoo, the History Museum, the bats, Paynes Prairie where you can see Bison and wild horses. It's pretty cool.
ah yes! I've been to the bat houses where you can go in Gainesville too see them fly out at night, I love it so much and have been wanting to go back soon.

holy moly I had no Idea that train ride to backstage existed. I have a season pass and have been there probably second most to any of the parks behind epcot. (Guardians is worth the 2.5 hour drive) I'm gonna check this out next week for sure

If you and Sam have never been to Goats on the Roof in Pigeon Forge, you definitely need to add it to your list. Not the one on the main strip, that's just a shop. But the one a few miles off.

I was watching this one with my husky, Snips, and the minute the tiger sound started she was very focused on the TV. Then when you went into the aviary she was very into the TV again 😂😂

Moved to central Florida with my family thinking i was going to enjoy the parks but in 3 years only been to the parks 5 times in 3 1/2 years you do have to be rich 💰
Animal Kingdom is my favorite park, I think also, it’s the hottest, but you would think it would be cooler with all the greenery and the trees. When I go, I’m on vacation so I always hit the big rides, I wish I had time to just stroll through and look at all the little things, I think I’ve seen the tigers and gorillas and I went into the bird area and it was gorgeous. Thanks for reminding us of all the things that we can do besides riding the big attractions.

This looked like a fun day. I did not realize that Tigers made roars too. In the Washington D.C. Smithsonian Zoo there tiger used to be an open glass cage. They are pretty but, do not think I would want to be face to face with it. Loved the cute Halloween shirt.

I remember doing the planet watch but it was insanely hot out especailly at the animal pet station but thats animal kingdom for you hardly any shade but it's a lot of fun.
I think Animal Kingdom doesn’t get the respect it deserves So much areas to explore
