This song is a quick reminder of Prophet Isaiah's burden of Dumah... Burden-because his heart was heavy for those in Dumah who were hardly pressed by their Syrian enemies on every side and death was imminent but the city was not aware of this imminent danger, because there were no active watchman. But then there was the Prophet Isaiah as the watchman and then the voice of one came crying... ' watchman what of the night... This man desperately needed the word to go out... to let the people know what time of the night they were and how soon before the morning. Remember... danger was coming against them. What type of watchman am I? Am I awake or a sleeping watchman? Brethren, it's time to send out the message... As people in those days looked up to Isaiah... today they are looking up to us. It's only the awakened watchman that can send the wake up call. Today, there is another burden- to take the gospel of Jesus Christ and tell the people about their souls need. Friends are out there on the sea of life tossed to and fro without the knowledge of the Saviour. People are actively in the process of being consumed by death. We need to hear their cry and harken to the lyrics of this precious song. As we let this melody serenade our souls, may we be up to give the message of Christ to many, as much as we can just like Isaiah did. ... the day is coming and also another night is coming... Heaven or Hell which is it gonna be? If you will enquire, enquire and come... Return! Return! can you hear the urgency in Isaiahs voice? We've got to be in a hurry. Lest another soul within our reach slip into the darkness of eternity...
