I don’t know if I’ll ever get to go to a Ben Howard concert (cause I live in Malaysia and broke as hell). But once in a while, I’ll just sit or lie in my room fully dark with headphones on and imagine being right there. This particular show is just something. Pure therapy!

So a good friend of my family just nearly died ... and I forgot to pause this video. I came back completely shocked, took my headphones and "Keep you Head up" was playing and now I sit here crying but with hope that he will survive. Thank you Ben.

Hi, so ... a few weeks ago this good friend I mentioned died from cancer and the effects of the sickness he already had at the point I wrote this. He had lung cancer and his sickness left only 50% of his lung capacity to actually be used. So it was no real surprise that he passed away in the end but it still was very heavy. I'm happy for him that he doesn't suffer anymore though ... Thank you for the well wishes, appriciate it! :)

Yeah, in my opinion the instrumental part in the end is amazing.
The Way they sing Love Love Love, with the emphasis on different parts really gets to me, Its as if there vocalising the different ways in-which love is expressed.

I just love Ben Howard, I found him years ago with Keep your head up and Old Pine, then esmerelda. He had only a few watchers then and I would share his stuff all the time, then more and more people started discovering him and now you see how many people just love him, it's so great to see his success, he truly deserves it all. such a great band.

Despite the fact that Noonday Dream is my favorite Ben era this is his best and most powerful performance that I've seen, just absolute perfection start to finish
This and T in the park 2012/2013 are my top 2 but Ive come back to this one much more over the years

Pranav Hegde They have (more so Chris) expressed that it became more about Ben and less about the band. Felt that they weren't getting the credit they deserved. Chris produced, arranged, and mixed the first two albums and felt he was given little recognition. Hard to speak for him but check out his twitter feed. Pretty telling.
Mark Roan But it is Ben. There would be no Ben Howard without Ben. As long as he isn't being a dick about it, they should understand this. Anybody should know that if you're joining forces with a songwriter who writes all the music and whose songs have a standalone artistic vision, that all your there for is to help flesh out his vision. That's not to say they shouldn't be valued, but this is generally my response to musicians who take issue with joining a band named after the frontman. Ben's always seemed very gracious, especially at shows, giving his band members a shoutout after every other song. I think it probably had more to do with Ben diving so deep into his personal issues in this last record that he became almost insular, or at least seemingly. Hopefully he won't go the route of Bon Iver, who stepped away for the same reason. But then again, Bon Iver is back, and maybe that's exactly what Ben needs. If he does, I'll most certainly be following his side work, which I never really got into with Justin Vernon simply because I didn't really become a fan until after Bon Iver was on hiatus.
Noah McDaniel Again, this is based on how Chris Bond has acted/spoke on the situation. I am just the messenger and I have no inside knowledge. Justin Vernon I won't even get into. All I have to say is you should give his other projects a shot. That man is crazy talented.

Going to see Ben live tomorrow night in Dublin for the third time. As excited as I am, and as grateful as I am to have seen him before.. I would give all of them up to have been at this show. Unbelievable stuff.

I do love all these songs, I call them campfire songs. That is the feeling that I get with them: friends, beach and fun.
When it comes to the new ones it's a completely different thing, but still amazing. The shows are way less interactive, but the lights and musicality are even better than in their first album.

Met him and worked with Ben at Eden project in Cornwall and boardmasters at acoustic stage. Interacts with the crowd and plays amazing music. All round good bloke .
