I am strongly in favor of this. One thing you did that's different from what I do in these types of scenarios is let the sound ring out before and after the recording... When I synthesize percussion I always start and end at zero amplitude for each hit. It's neat that the morphagene seems to be de-clicking somehow (?)... Only other thought here is about the plugging and unplugging of the record gate jack during the slice recording. It seems some kind of 'record-arm' switch would be more ergonomic. Maybe a record mode where the record jack and record button are 'and'ed together, so it only record when you're holding the record button _and_ a gate/trigger is received at the jack? Cool stuff for sure!
i would love to see more integration of the morphagene processing live external audio going into the spectraphon modulated by the envelope output of the morphagene. i feel like live processing is the thing i have been missing from the recent demos of the new system. the new system is clearly a powerhouse, but what about live, without any pausing for retuning? Modulators allowing for hands free processing of the external instrument.

Had me all worked up. A make noise stand alone drum machine would be insane 😮
No one is as fluent in spectraphon. What a wild concrete performance that was at the end. Bravo!
Reklaw is back! 👍 The percussion you get out of this are wonderful. Loving what you do.
This is beyond ultra cool.
I'm a simple man, I see "Drum Machine", I click button. Good stuff fren, I love seeing what kind of crazy patches you come up with.
The Essence of Modular
So Much Inspiration. ......

Hole so deep noone ever came back from it holy geez, how many unheard sounds are hiding from us inside our machines lol

Heck yes! Got got my ch svr and x-pan to ‘finish’ my make noise section. Def gonna try this with the morphagene/spectraphon combo

I love a new drum machine
😂 After the Insta post, I was thinking Spectraphon should be a solid all drum module. Aaaand, here we are! Looking forward to this!
