- In this video, I throw 10 different styles of knives. I throw each one half spin, no spin, and full spin. JXE JXO no spin looked excellent! The perfect balance that rolled the stump 🤣
@@ARAW-__- They are both really good throwers. I like throwing them both no spin but the JXE JXO edges the Perfect Balance for a few reasons. It’s heavy enough to throw easily, but it’s not too heavy to where it’s slow and makes it easy to see coming. It’s super sharp, aerodynamic, and gets great penetration. And not having a handle gives it a smooth release. I really like the perfect balance for any type of throwing. It is a bigger knife, so it’s not going to move as fast. But it’s a pretty versatile knife. With one edge being sharp, it still has practicality. It’s one of my favorites of the bigger knives. And I have to find a way to keep those stumps from rolling🤔. I might put a ratchet strap around them.

Or maybe make them hexagon / octogon with a splitting axe 🤔
Gotcha ! I don't like big knives too, I think my favorite throwing weapons, on paper at least, are screwdrivers and construction nails. I need to make some bo shuriken out of those.
Lol i know that feeling bro. I hate throwing knives that are too light weighted. I do medieval reenactment and I do throwing weapons as a hobby. I am pretty particular about the knives,spears and axes I enjoy throwing.
@@NicholasNappi Yes, too lightweight is no good. Throwing weapons is definitely fun. I have to get back into throwing axes. The next video I’ll release will be throwing axes. I only have one set so I have to invest in some different ones. I have yet to throw a spear. I appreciate the comment.

I mean......you threw some knives I guess. But it's all the same thing if you don't introduce the viewer to what you're throwing. Take a beat, do a 10 second close up of the knife, pro/con it maybe and then switch to your throw shot.

Thank you for the feedback. I’ll have to do that next time. I usually do that in my other videos when I’m doing a knife review. This video was purely meant to see which one I like throwing best. I didn’t want to make the video too long and drawn out because I’ve had people comment that I do too much talking about the knives. Again, thanks for the feedback.

Maybe doing the throwing session in one shot (as in your video) and then in the edit you include the close up between each new knife. 🫡
So much faster than resetting the camera from close-up to wide view again and again 🙄 (yeah, I was NOT smart for a very long time 😅)

I'm back! That shape of the spine on the JXEs helps the blade to keep contact with your index as it releases. That's what my THKFWD is shaped like.

This no spin throw is 🐂💩.
It looks like some kind of competition throw and not a real combat throw, it looks very weak and it’s main purpose seems to be just to hang on to the target to make score.
With such throw to a real opponent you wouldn’t really hurt him you would just piss him off and make him charge even more.
I’m going to have to disagree with your opinion. No spin is definitely very effective if thrown correctly and with enough force. This video is not a great display of throwing a knife with much force. This was the third video I did back to back and I was probably already over 100 throws in so I was tired. Maybe 50% or less power in the throws.
You do not know what you’re talking about. You obviously do not know anything about no spin, throwing except what you just saw on this video.
