This is what this anime js actually based on. Except these are not kidnappes children these are all cloned and they are specialized in aviation warfare. They are not augmented luke the spartan program. These special soldier are called kildrens. I recommend reading the light novels. They shed more light to the lore.
I used to play this game a LOT the heart touching moment is that mission when you had to destroy that super cannon, I hated that mission because i needed to take Kaida down, i could have also killed ukumori for being an asshole and thinks that he's the best at all
Been asking that every where its not in the ost list either, along with the piano for ascension. My bet its somewhere in game if you can rip it, someone did it but the number jumped from ost 1 to 3 etc so must be those somewhere.

That way they were able to reuse the Ace Combat 5 engine and only deeded a small team for the lower res textures and moddels. This game was by no means a shurefire success.

Seeing kids join you in battle is the same as getting slapped in the face and being told by your own nation you're fighting for that all your efforts were for nothing.
Oh good lord, SHUT UP!!!!!!!! Of all alien life forms in fiction, these guys make the Navi and the Ba'kku tolerable! Hell. The Drej at least had a motivation that make a semblance of sense!

Bruh I couldn't replay this mission, it was too gut-wrenching for me. I was a kid at the time and all things going down in that mission got me hard
Knowing what Cheetah did to Orishina's clone in the books makes that last scene extra chilling
