@@HobbyScapesHQyou never gave it a go so you could have a different approach for a new video and maybe layoff feeding the day before and drop it as the light is fading and instead of 40 minutes add another zero and hit upload P
@stoneysscapes7544 you're not wrong.. I'll have to buy another one at some point and redo this with a lot more patience. To be very honest with you, I was rooting for the snails in this one... I don't mind them at all 😅
This is super handy! I use DIY ones. The best is 2 hours with the lights off. Even if it isn't total darkness the snails will come! Then i just crush them and drop them back in the tank. Everything smashes them! Their favourite food of all time!
@@HobbyScapesHQ i had 2 different species and it went out of control, i have never seen so many snails , they pack one on top of each other it was unreal, so i got some of the loaches and the snails are gone. i keep the loaches in there just in case, they are so much fun to watch.
@@HobbyScapesHQ I've been trying many methods, nothing is working but, not giving up. I don't want to spend $40 for a seri snail trap but in the end, I might.
Today I learned that snails have to react within exactly 40 minutes. Them being so fast and all. For God's sake, give them a chance to smell and locate the bait! Delete your channel, seriously.
It wasn't a bad review, tho... Like I said in the video... the snails are usually all over the shrimp food fairly quickly, but not this time... they might have been well fed... also, I'm also always open to a dialogue, but you went straight in with "delete your channel"
You're meant to leave the trap over night or at least in the dark for a few hours. Would be fun to revise the video and check your results: )
So I've been told 😅. I will give it another go at some point.

They don't really bother me, just had the thing lying around so I thought I'll se how it works...
Take a plastic water bottle. Cut the top off. Put some lettuce, and carrots in. Invert the top.
I'll give it a try at some point. Thank you
get some yoyo loach, bye bye snails
To be honest, I don't mind them at all they are useful. I had that snail catcher lying around, so I thought I'll test it out.

@panyagua2203 I never had it that bad, probably I would do the same thing as you did 😅
Snail UFO
🤣
leaving it one spot overnight would have worked better
That is very possible. I was just thinking that, whenever I feed my shrimp, snails are all over their food in minutes
I did leave it overnight. It doesn't work. Waste of money & time.
I was suspecting that's the case... thanks for confirming it.

Good luck ! Let me know how it goes
Problem I have with it it’s to light and will just float at the top

That's a bit harsh... don't you think?
@@HobbyScapesHQ No. Bad reviews can seriously ruin a company's sale, so at least apply yourself before doing so.
