Honestly I love it when companies try to have parity between every hardware and this scratches that itch. It makes the console feel a lot better to use these days.

@@KYOTRUclips Xbox, PS2, and Gamecube aged pretty well. Unlike the N64 and PS1 where it feels noticably retro in both the console and games department. That's why we can have remasters like Destroy all Humans and Halo 2 anniversary were all that was changed was the graphics and not the gameplay because those still feel solid.
Huh. I'll have to learn how to do this myself. This looks super fun. I'd be able to play all my scratched up games with their ISOs without an emulator!

If you know soldering you can forsure do it I had a mechanic that knew nothing about RGH Xbox 360 or modding anything but after a few videos and my help he was able to RGH 3 my Xbox for his first time ever soldering on consoles that was about 4 years ago I still have it till this day

Great Video! I go back to the older soft mod days of Coinops 7. I bought my first modded box back in 2016 and that was it! I had always been an OG Xbox Collector but had no idea what u could run on these. I have had so many different mods since then. I have sold many from my stash all the way up to 1TB Loaded with the chip. I have roughly 9 old xboxes downstairs either modded or needing modded. I can tell u that they last! If u keep them clean, they are tanks! I'm ready to get a Newer build, the last 2 I had done both had Coinops Ninja, tons of other emulators, Coinops R6, and around 100 xbox titles on each. Real quick: if you get one, look into a x-arcade stick with the PS3/Xbox adapter! I use one of mine in my x-arcade cabinet. This is the way to go! Even if you don't have a cabinet u can do so much with the Tankstick or the one without the trackball. Get u some higher end component cables if your tv allows.

I randomly picked up an Xbox from a pawnshop when I was much younger. It had xbmc loaded onto it but no games or emulators. Still have it to this day. I wonder how hard it would be to load stuff into it.

I want an og xbox with hard modded with all the games ever released with mods/trainer on it, HD textures, SSD upgrade, HDMI upgrade, RAM upgrade, clear case with LED, insignia to play xbl, executor modification with the display

If I'm not mistaken, this is the torrent image from Arcade Punks. It has been heavily modified from the original XBMC Origins, which is a much more complete dashboard experience.

I have Origins as my main dash, but I had to use the XBMC skin “ Confluence“ to set it up? Also the settings panel is just black. I can hear the navigation sounds when I press the buttons! CAN YOU SHARE YOUR XML setup script file please
I been having problems with mine, the color for retro games are washed out, and the reds look more like yellows, but the regular xbox games look fine.
Does anyone know how to change the favorites tab? I favorited a bunch of games but it doesn't look like they went anywhere.

So my parents bought a house and there was a box full of old consoles, one of them being an og xbox, when i got home and turned it on it was a modded menu, i dont know how to add games
I have a question, if I softmod my xbox will I still be able to use the original dashboard or will it be permanently replaced?
You can use the original dashboard if you soft mod. In fact, I can still use the original dashboard even on my hard modded Xbox. It's a tab for me to select. When it comes to soft modding, you are not using a separate hardware piece, so your Xbox will start up just like normal. The modifications in a soft mod are all within the software files. As for hard modding, for instance a Xenium chip like in this video, I have a Xenium chip, therefore, I can install a different kernel within Xenium to route me to a completely separate dashboard for ease of access of many more features. In soft modding, whatever you do, do not touch the C Drive at all. If you accidentally delete anything in the C Drive, you may terminate the dashboard for good and you would have to do a hot swap of the hard drives to get it back to normal.

Yes, the original dashboard is easily accessible to play online from Origins.

Anyone can add any image to a game through ftp and access it via settings. 3D boxart, Poster, Flat graphic, your moms tits, anything.
Plus he adds the link to view more photos of the modded menu....

If you buy one of these, do the games already come installed. Ready to play out of the box??? I want plug in play. I don't want to have download anything after laying down 500 bucks on 20+ year old hardware.

Its not even that hard to set one up the cheap way i got one tsop modded xbox for 10 bucks i updated the bios it had and the hdd files so yeah
