@@lottoguy6457I wonder though, he plays it in a really creative and I think LEGALLY ARGUABLE way. It's a really different approach. But if the King people come in with shock and awe it wouldn't really matter.
@@FrithonaHrududu02127 Honestly, I think Stephen King would get a kick out of this channel. He seems like a guy who would enjoy the fresh takes on his works, rather than jumping to sue. @@thing_under_the_stairs it's weird that you compared the two, because I have commented on other videos on this channel where I compare the tommyknockers to Aladdin sane. And I agree with you is Stephen King is as cool as David Bowie.. he's so marvelously uncool that he is cool.
I adored this! I had an idea some years ago to do a "true"-crime podcast based on the crimes in King's world, as if they existed. This was as close as I could imagine, although I envisioned interviews, etc. I thought to do this case, the Derry murders of '57-58 and again in '84-85, etc., etc. Well done!
Thank you! As I began this channel (starting with Carrie) I stumbled onto the idea, since King adds so many details the work naturally lends itself to the true-crime podcast format... I am building up to an IT series... but I need to study a lot more to prepare!
It's raining in Cali for first time in years. And I am listening to another of Steven Kings Fearfest. What's wrong with me?!!! I just like being scared by a professional a master of fear. And the narrator is frightenly good.Thank you.❤❤❤❤❤
Any more Salem's Lot videos planned? There is a BBC Radio Drama, made in 1995, which can be found on here if you have not discovered it, which adapts Salem's Lot into 7 30-minute episodes, totalling 3 hours and 30 minutes. It is very good, and worth checking out.
I will say, I do love Christopher Walken in the role of John Smith. Excellent casting choice -- and when I made the Dead Zone videos, I had to try to bring him back into the story!
i need to re-read the dead zone. when i red it for the first time i kind of dismissed as "not very scary". but i was young and stupid then (now im old and stupid). very cool channel, anyway!
More please. How about the less known characters who possibly have interesting backgrounds? Eva Miller may have some tales to share, Arthur Denker certainly has, whilst new tales aren’t Lore, they’re adding to fiction. I’ve no idea what Mr. King may think. Your video about The Raft was in my feed so I watched it and about halfway through subscribed to the channel. Halfway through this one, I'm turning on notifications. Love the analysis, the narration and the creative approaches to my favorite author's work, thank you!
I really enjoyed this one. Wonderful book, wonderful movie, but also very sad. I sat down with things to mend, and I sewed and watched and listened and enjoyed your presentation. So inventive, so thought-provoking. The story from another angle. Thanks for this.

2:26 - I'll bet that drifter could've helped stop that strangler much sooner. He looks like someone who's an expert in guerrilla warfare, a man who's the best with guns, with knives, with his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, ignore weather. Following the Castle Rock Murders there emerged from Castle Rock itself the perverted and twisted mind of the author, Stphanie Queen, who wrote a novel of such unmitigated horror that, the author herself succumbed to a heart attack while pinning the final paragraph that has since been banned in thirty different languages, giving the famed author, Stephen King unmitigated glee since he was terrified that this upcoming mistress of the ultimate macabre posed some serious competition to his ass.
I love how Castle Rock is really my hometown of Bangor. The Coffee Pot was a great sub place!
Really?
Is it a nice place to live?

These are best when I'm not sure what story it is and the clues eventually give it away.
This, of course, means the more obscure events are best.
Very well done! I love the visuals, and the documentary feel is spot on.

Why was Rambo a suspect in the Castle Rock murders!? At that time he was a POW in Vietnam. I'd say he has a rock solid alibi .
Are we sure he didn't get out commit the murders and get back in without the Vietnam Commies noticing?
