Viper, this mission was not bugged, it's just much easier once you get players to be Neutral to you. The easiest way to win this mission is to immediately send 4 riders to each base of yellow, blue, cyan, and grey and then you will not be attacked by them after any initial combat that has already been triggered.
Such as? Because unless I'm triggering combat without any obvious indication, this statement is simply wrong. What do I mean by that? Well, the state of Kashmir attacks me with pretty much everything it has (including its trebuchets) right after I send a unit up to meet with them. I made sure not to so much as run into another unit when I did, too; I sent my hero up there, and sent him back as soon as Kashmir switched to Neutral. I didn't see a single unit when I did this, but apparently that wasn't good enough. The same is true with the rest of the computer players mentioned, who I also scouted and got to switch over to Neutral with essentially no fuss. They all ended up attacking me, and long before I was ready to do anything. Perhaps something changed in the more recent patches for the game? I've heard of similar issues with other campaigns for Forgotten Empires, which would be rather unfortunate if so.
Conquer means you become a direct ruler of the new province, choosing administration on your own. Vassalize would be to make the ruler of a province pay you taxes, but still be free to rule as they wish. Subjugate is to make the ruler of a province become your subordinate, so that they do what you say.
Quick history lesson for those interested: Mahmud of Ghazni (the Ghaznavids, green) was a king from what is today Afghanistan. Around 100 years before this campaign (around the year 1000), he led a series of huge raids into the divided kingdoms of India. It was under him that Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan permanently fell to the muslims. Like most powerful nomadic empires, his kingdom fell apart after his death. Another dynasty, the Ghurids, rule Afghanistan at this point of the campaign. The Ghaznavids are no longer the power they were, but the Ghurids have their eyes on India. This time, they plan on not just plundering, but ruling India. We'll probably face Mahmud of Ghor in the last 2 missions of this campaign. By the end of this mission, Prithviraj has united most of Northern India. The Ghurids #clearly have no chance!

dodirivaldo there's a game Jordan and DauT played. Jordan was getting rekt but still said he was fine. Since then DauT gives him a hard time by saying fiiiine. This snake is just copying DauT.
After finishing yellow's task, you would have made 4 of them their allies, but you still needed to kill or ally purple (the 5th person). You could either send him 25 elephants, or defeat him (which is what you did) Also, after you "killed" the ruler, he would appear in your base in the south as a prisoner.
The sultans Tech is like Spanish trade gold bonus, turks gold mining bonus and Aztecs relic gold collection bonus combined into 1 single tech. For trade it increases the gold per trip of the trade carts, just like the Spanish trade bonus. #clearly noob Viper
I hate the mission that when you already have base to begin with, not to mention, your base in middle of the map, against 5 or more team that keep sending unit to ruin your day every 1 ish minutes.
Stop being fancy with the letter 'J' Norwegian boy, this isn't a Germanic language. But what do i know, I just clicked off a tv series with millions of dollars of budget and worked on by thousands of skilled workers to watch a -manboy- (insert word for a mid twenty year old who plays video games for a living) play a twenty year old game while commentating in a non-native language.
I appreciate the kind words and would be upset about being misunderstood but I realised that the word 'manboy' is used as a derogatory term and not in a playful 'look how childish he is being' way setting the negative tone that has quite rightly riled up so many. Should've just added a '11' at the end there. The second part of the comment was supposed to be a joke about me (preferring such niche videos rather than big budget netflix hits) and how much I adore viper despite these understandable ("non-native language") blunders of his. Quite an irony that I, another non-native english speaker, made a blunder myself. 11

Vassalize means you start an alliance, a royal marriage and get relations to 190... Wait, wrong game!
or you just attack them and force them
Ray Nightshade That would fall under 'subjugate', I feel. But sure, that too.
well conquer, vassalize and subjugate more or less means the same, or at least very close to the same

Mihail Kondov You think you know how feudalism works, just because you've played EU4/CK2? No, that's not how it works.

Indian architecture is love.
he using a mod for it?
Ray Nightshade no it isn't a mod
Ray Nightshade He isn't. The Indians got their own unique architecture style with the release of Rise of the Rajas.

Primary objective says "conquer or ally 4 out of 5". He didn't need to destroy purple
My mistake. If he had done all of this before allying someone else though things will take place as I have described.
Dafuq Viper???!!! You killed the cows! INDIAN WORSHIP COWS!!! they dont eat them lol.
But Viper is not Indian #Clearly #Beefper
piotrj333 he forced his own indian people to commit a very punishable sin :0!
Would be funny if there was a holy cow he needed to keep alive, and then his villagers kills it.1111

Sultans gives 10% more gold per trip in trade.
This is one of the most frustrating campaign missions in the game.
For purple, I trained bunch of light cavalries and rush right through the gates. God know why it worked.
Yeah, you get purple on your team for the elephant archers.

if its confusing with so many buildings you could just delete everything outside your startin bases... they are just houses and farms to get attacked

Yes!
