Nick, I went with your advice jacobs in the 3rd round…also for clarification I had the 5th pick in a 12 man league. Long story short made it to the finals 2nd place. No Lamb in the finals but I scooped BTJr and Bucky in later rounds on my own. Won $330
Talk about securing a backfield, I drafted Achane, Mostert & Wright in one FFPC league (20 rounds). Finished 2nd in spite of it. I had a ton of leagues so didn’t mind getting a little silly. Brooks getting hurt was a real shame but it may have saved you if you had the duo. That transition was not looking good for either of them during a crucial point in the ff season. Kudos on Jacobs/Mixon. They paired nicely getting them in rds 4/5, allowing you to draft some elite players at other positions
Henry/white-bucky/mixon/achane/mayfield/goff/naybors/godwin-mcmillan. 2 qb came in as a 6 seed, never scored less then 220 in the playoffs. Fortunate to finish 1/1/3/3 in my 4 leagues.
Gonna have to strongly disagree on JT. Yeah he went crazy in the playoffs but he was so underwhelming going into the playoffs that I’m sure many owners didn’t even start him if they had half decent backups. I started Rico dowdle over him and most rankings had that as a valid decision.
He was pretty good for the 1st 4 weeks of the year. I think the injury probably lingered a bit until the end of the year when he took off and the schedule got better.
I need to push back on the idea that The Packers and Matt Lafleur wanted to give their lead back a massive workload. That's the opposite of the MLF philosophy. He said repeatedly this off-season and other seasons that he prefers a committee. This is the guy who as OC of the Titans had Derrick Henry in a committee with Dion Lewis who often out snapped him. They were forced to rely on Jacobs because they were down to fringe NFL level players in the RB depth chart. Also it seems like MLF lost trust in Jordan Love as the season went on and went massively run heavy especially in the red zone. Still, Jacobs is a beast and he was a good pick and a great call by you. I think it will be interesting to see if the Packers continue to use Jacobs as a true bellcow going forward now that it worked so well, but I would be surprised.

Drafted Henry, Jacobs, Achane, JT, and Brown across my leagues and won 4 leagues. Definitely my best season ever.

Season long feels like its pretty much a thing of the past at this point. Everything is prize picks, draft kings and underdog.

Mervin Mims carried me week 16 and 17 of the playoffs last season
Drafting Saquon/Henry from the 9th spot in a 12 ppr lg was like hitting a lottery.
Won my 12M full PPR league and I drafted Gibbs, JT, Montgomery and basically used them all year and didn’t have to pick anyone else up 💪
I’m sorry Nick I’ll never doubt you again I drafted Chase brown in all three of my leagues

I was able to secure Gibbs and paired him Jacobs. Won 3rd place and a little cash!

He’s not listed as one of the handful of running backs that have 2000 yard seasons
