9 years later i still listen to this. I was in middle school and now I just graduated college
I could see it all behind this cage. The world dying, the world living. I wanted to experience it all. What it feels like to be in pain, what it feels like to be in love. All the memories that wait beyond this cage. If I have to wait, then I'll keep waiting. Waiting for the day I get to live outside this cage, outside these restraints.

These bars. Colder than the gamemaster's heart. The sensation prodding her to grasp harder and see if maybe a sliver of hope could burn from her palms. Wanting to melt the caged barrier with all her might. But, as her hands loosened around the steel, she slid to the ground.
What if hope did not come for those in love? Kirito was alive and fighting the entire virtual world to find her. Yet weeks have past. Possibly months. Will her heart reunite with the beloved black knight? Or will she just remain trapped as the world passed her by?
The prison reminded her that she once had a caged heart. Nevertheless, Kirito's determination breathed life and clarity into her world. Even though she saw the metal bars, it reflected what she has already overcome. As if she looked not through lines of steel, but through a future looking glass. Breakable at a moment's notice. Freedom in a moment's glance.
They say looking through the glass
can be an illusion or heart's desire
or does it reveal truth?
or nothing but malice?
One may not know
for looking through the glass
is different amongst each soul.
