Aww thank you for the sweet comment! I am actually in the process of updating this video lol I think it can use a little revamping lol. I am so glad to brighen your day! Thank you so much for the sweet comment and for taking the time to watch! XoXo ❤️
Video actually starts at 4:27. So honestly it’s VERY wordy and the video itself was not thought out but the actually process of making the envelope shows she definitely know what she’s doing. It worked for me
🤣🤣🤣 You're 100% right. I need to redo this and make it more concise. Hopefully I'll have an updated one soon. I never expected it to be viewed so much when I made it or else I would have definitely filmed it differently lol. But thanks for hanging in there and I am glad you found the meat of it helpful! ❤️ XoXo
PinkOddBird of course! I appreciate the video, and this was made so long ago I know your presentation skills have grown and changed. Thank you for helping me learn things!
Thank you so much. I have 2 punch boards and the measurements are way off. I have wasted so much paper, and have looked all over you tube, but so far people just want to demo the a2 cards and not any 5x7. I already had my card made, and I am so glad I found you. What a great tutorial and my card fits perfectly even though I had a couple of layers on the top and the inside I wish I had seen your tutorial at 4am this morning instead of after noon because I need it for today for a 4th of July card. I just can't thank you enough!!! The people at WRMK can kiss my rear end and all the people demoing their envelope punch boards not wanting to do a 5x7 tutorial on either one of them.!
Hi Theresa! I'm so glad you found me! I know how frustrating that can be! I'm so happy to hear that your card fit perfectly! There is plenty of wiggle room in the envelope! Thanks for watching and using this tutorial!
Ohhhhhhh! That's awesome! I didn't know you could do that! Wayyyyyy faster too I bet! I really need to update this tutorial lol... It could use a little refurbishment 🤣🤣 thanks for taking the time to watch and have fun making the envelopes! XoXo ❤️
I Loved your tutorial i was able to follow your directions for the A7 envelope and design the envelope on my cricut design space with the score lines and cut lines and my cricut was able to do all the cutting and scoring and all i had to do was assemble! I get the pleasure of making my sisters wedding invites and envelopes and i am very excited i found an envelope tutorial that fits her invite perfectly. I subscribed very helpful!
Hi Miranda! I just saw another comment of another gal who used her cricut as well! I had no clue you could do that! Such a time saver too I'm sure! I'm so happy you were able to use this tutorial for your sister's wedding (congratulations to her!!)! Thank you so much for the feedback and for taking the time to watch! XoXo ❤️
Thank you so much for this video. Yours's is the first one I've seen that works for me and easy. The other one that I made a template for uses a 12 x 12 paper & waste of paper. This is perfect, thank YOU again.
Thank you so much for the sweet comment and I am so happy this works for you! I think I really need to do an updated version of this! Lol I can see how the 12x12 would not work out. Thank you again for swinging by to watch! XoXo ❤️
Hi, Pink. I seem to have developed an envelope fixation over the last year or so, and I found your tutorial very helpful and interesting. I think you must be decades younger than I, so my comment is just meant to be a bit informative, should you continue to make tutorials. The white table covering, ivory scoreboard, and light paper make it very difficult for people with diminished or low vision to see. Greater contrast between paper and scoring board would have been much easier for me to see. Nonetheless thanks for taking the time to show this video.
Thank you so much for the feedback Diane! I really do appreciate it and it does help me to know what would make my (soon to come) updated version of this tutorial better. So thank you and what you're saying totally makes sense! I appreciate you taking the time to watch and leaving a comment! ❤️ XoXo
Coincidentally... Lol you had it correct (no judging) that was a good video and I wanted to learn so I can make small ones so I'll use this technique just in a smaller scale.. Thank you 🖐🏼🖐🏼👋🏼🖐🏼👋🏼and your such a great friend doing her invitation envelopes😊🌻
Lol lol! Thank you Gracie! That word was killing me!! Jeepers!! 😂😂 Thank you for watching and for the feedback I do appreciate it! That's a good idea you have, I haven't tried it on a smaller scale but let me know if you do and how it turns out. I'm sure once you scale it down it will be just fine. Let me know how it goes crafty sister! 👍👍
Lol hey there Carrol! Your comment put a smile on my face this morning! Thank you so much for trying it out, I hope I was clear, I was pretty new back when I did this tutorial haha. I should probably consider revamping it. Anyway, thank you so much for subbing I greatly appreciate that! And I hope you found this tutorial helpful! Thanks for swinging by!! XoXo ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Thank you so much Pam! I feel like I need to do an updated version of this lol. I appreciate you taking the time to each and for subscribing! Very much appreciated! 🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️
Thanks so much Roweinna! Unfortunately I'm not sure about the dies, I don't have a die cutting machine, but I have to imagine there must be? Other than this, the other way I now make envelopes with ease is the we r memory keepers envelope punch board. I won that in gipsyrose Paperie's giveaway. It's super easy too!
As I mentioned I have both of the envelope punch boards the regular grey envelope punch board and the white 1-2-3 punch board. Now all over you tube the people who work for the company said the measurements were way off and that is why so many people were having such a hard time. However in the demos I see the 1-2-3 punch boards are all the brownish grey color, but mine is white and blue and the 5x7 measurement on the 1-2-3 is paper size 91/8 and score guide 41/8. I followed the directions to a tee, and my card never did fit in any direction. Do you think I have an older punch or am I doing something wrong? I was anxious to try making the boxes, but after several hours, wasting so much paper and up til 4am, I am afraid to try it.
Hi there Maru - yes of course! In this tutorial I used size 8.5x11 cardstock and I believe I picked up the 110 lb weight. It will give the envelope more structure for handling when you mail it out. Hope this helps! ❤️ XoXo
Hi Jared. I don't have one unfortunately, but I guess it wouldn't be too bad for me to look into that. Thank you for mentioning that. I did start out with an 8.5x11 sheet and with the steps I've done it makes for a 5x7 envelope. Thank you so much for swinging by! XoXo ❤️
Technically you could use either. Depending on what you are making them for. But here I am using cardstock - which is just a heavier, more durable form of paper.
No envelope board......125 envelopes needed......of course I can whip them up for you in maybe in 5 hours..... Sounds like me! I believe we have SUCKER written across our foreheads????😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ahaha! I'm cracking up! That sounds about right! Too funny, I think we just have great belief in our capabilities. I reallyyyyyy need to update this video lol! Thanks for the laughs and for swinging by to watch! XoXo ❤️
I'm so sorry you feel this way. While I do think I could have made this tutorial less meandering, I don't think it's confusing at all. I made this video so long ago and when I made it I didn't realize at the time that it would be so highly viewed. I made the video in a format that was consistent with the type of videos that my viewers in particular enjoyed. And most of the comments here do reflect that. Additionally I don't mind constructive criticism, so leaving a more educational, robust comment than: "confusing tutorial" - would certainly be more helpful to me when I go to recreate this tutorial. But by all means, I'd love to see your take on a video tutorial. Feel free to link it here if you make one you feel is better. I'd absolutely love to see it! 💕😊
I was feeling grumpy and blue and then I found YOU! Thank you for the happy videos.💐

I used 1/8" tear and tape for my seal, as I was making larger birthday cards.
That's a good use for that super skinny tape! Thanks for the suggestion! ❤️
A great tutorial, April! Thank you so much. Take care and Happy New Year 2021! Denise

Hi there it'd the Martha Stewart score board.
Hi, may I know what is the size of the paper that you used on this vid?
Hi there Maru - yes of course! In this tutorial I used size 8.5x11 cardstock and I believe I picked up the 110 lb weight. It will give the envelope more structure for handling when you mail it out. Hope this helps! ❤️ XoXo
❤️♥️❤️
Hi do you have printable template for this? Thank you
Hi Jared. I don't have one unfortunately, but I guess it wouldn't be too bad for me to look into that. Thank you for mentioning that. I did start out with an 8.5x11 sheet and with the steps I've done it makes for a 5x7 envelope. Thank you so much for swinging by! XoXo ❤️
