I caught 3 Channel Catfish Saturday in 3 different cities that were over 7 Lbs. They were all about 27"(22" was the smallest). Can you imagine fishing in a river that empties into Lake Michigan. James would freak out. Shrimp, live bluegill, & cut bluegill all worked. Glad you guys tore em up!
You and OG get some rechargeable head lanterns hit the river also get hipwader boots do some night fishing. Plus with hipwader boots to get lure out further.
Nice drum. Want to catch 50 in a day in Michigan, while catching channels at the same time. Then going fishing for Flatheads at night w live bait. 6-7" bluegills make good bait.
OMG, my knees hurt just watching you walk down over the bank on those broken concrete blocks. Cecil, what's up with OG playing with his pants ......... tell him to tighten up his belt. Looked like a nice fish catch day. Two thumbs up. Tight Line
My buddy caught 19 Channel Catfish yesterday in Michigan. I caught an 11.12 LB 27" channel. Average size was 24". James would have went crazy! Cut bluegill & cherry Koolaid minced garlic shrimp for bait on Carolina rigs. Some doubles. I caught a couple of drum on worms. Imagine fishing a river that dumps into the great lakes and knowing the best spots. You should bring James on a road trip. What would he do if he caught a big Flathead? Small ones are 12 to 15 Lbs
Is that really considered a big drum out that way? Not trying to sound rude. Honestly was wondering. Do you have a lake with blue's and flat heads? Those Chanel cats don't get to big, but flats and blue's average around 10 to 90 lbs here in Tennessee, sometimes in the 100's..
That’s why I been trying get on the flatheads in my river I fish the most cause no blues but up north above the city the Ohio river has blues I believe. Which my river had some blues
I believe that's the most catfish I've ever seen caught, thanks to "OG." God Bless you two! (Glen). WV.
