When you find your artifact, instantly 4 clank is added. You had clank block, and they were blocking the clank... that's why you could hear so many sounds all at once...
Despite this video being 2h, 10m... Pearl has actually gone through and edited it to make every run a really easy watch... it's not a VOD, it's a properly edited video, even adding graphics to showcase the deck! I think she may have edited out some of the stream discussion as well and possibly a little bit of the exploring here and there... It's been really fun watching live on Twitch... but ... still had to watch it all again here! :D
I mean there is only a single ravager in each zone on most of her runs. It’s fairly quite when you go from two camping the entrance to one in that entire beginning hidden back by the ice crevice which is fairly easy to avoid.
Well, to be fair, she had mentioned before that she doesn't have time to log into Hermitcraft during weekends at all, since she spends some quality time with her boyfriend Karn. So she kind of has to spend all her shards during the week itself.
It's one of my favorite aspects of decked out 2's existence. The sheer length of hermit vids has tripled for pretty much everyone, with more unedited moments for the sake of getting it all out there. I watched the majority of the runs in this vid one pearl's stream monday and I absolutely loved rewatching those runs n watching the ones I didn't catch/weren't included on stream. Pearl content is always peak. Pearl content for multiple hrs nearly entirely unedited is the definition of perfection. And hours upon hours of almost entirely unedited hermit content from the same period of time focusing on the same event, is how I would like to spend the rest of my life thank u very much 😂. It's really cool that this sorta thing has happened twice now. Tho the previous time wasn't as all hermit involving as this one (the last one being the tcg) n didn't result in such movie length videos from all participants.
I love good data presentation, so I loved this! Only thing I'll say, it would be nice if the names of the cards were there a bit bigger, it's a little hard to read them all at a glance
You are right that treasure no longer spawns on level 1 when you go down to level 2, but coming back up to level 1 causes treasure to stop on level 2 and start on level 1 again. That being said, it can't handle going back down again.
Just in case you didn't know, the treasure drops are better the deeper you go in the dungeon. So if you learn the layout of level 2 then treasure hunting on that floor could be very profitable for you.
And also, Tango has confirmed that once you go back to Level 1 from Level 2, treasure in deed drops on Level 1, but doesn't work if you go back to level 2. So Level 1 -> Level 2 -> Level 1 ==> Treasure drops on Level 1. But Level 1 -> Level 2 -> Level 1 -> Level 2 ==> Treasure will not drop on Level 2.
@@shanesunil That concept is forfeit now that Tango put in a treasure cap to level 1 unless you speed ran your way into level 2 and haven't come close to hitting the cap yet. It doesn't take long to hit the cap; either, so it's a bit weird to make the loot back peddle and then add a treasure cap sometime; thereafter, but Tango's brain is a bit weird. Enjoy your empty dispenser clicks. Personally, I would have tweaked the card potency down a little for certain cards and/or adjusted some shop prices before integrating any mechanic limitations into the game, but to each their own.
i think the treasure cap is a good addition and tango did say most of them shouldnt even hit the cap unless they camp level 1 like etho does and get 30 coins. the purpose of the cap is to incentivize the players to go deeper. each level has its own treasure cap and the lower you go the higher the cap is because there are more loot drops. so a rough estimation would be level 1 30 level 2 50. so when you get a level 2 compass the strat should be to get the artifact as fast as possible in level 2 and then camp level 1. its still viable as the treasure cap is different per level
Hey Pearl, in your last run you mentioned wanting to learn where the shriekers are, but do keep in mind that not all shriekers are active every run and it's random which ones are activated! Tango did this specifically to avoid people being able to learn exactly where to sneak each run haha
Honestly my favourite person to watch play DO, perfect balance of enthusiasm, positivity, skill, game knowledge and beautiful beautiful chaos! Thank you for uploading these!!!!
Yup. Joe and Hypno died while returning with their artifacts because of that. And also this was when Pearl stole Scar's deck of cards when Tango killed him and was running away from Scar. All this reminded me of Double Life, when Pearl unintentionally killed Ren, Bigb, Joel and Etho and stole Joel's diamond chestplate.
I love the 2 different pearls that appear in your runs, the calm and collected one, then there's the chaotic, cheeky one that makes funny noises when in danger 🤣
"I think I hear 'is footsteps behind me...(ravager appears)...UH!" *Profusely apologizes for the next 15 seconds about the loud noise she made*. - Chaotic Pearlo
1:58:03 The "tiptoe" sound effect you heard is the indicator that clank was blocked. Because you picked up your artifact you gained 3 clank, which were subsequently blocked, which produced that "chaining" of clank blocks. You can refresh your memory of the noises in the tutorial room.
Poor Pearl with her coin camping run... 😂 I'm pretty sure Tango's "how to play" video mentions that without an artefact the player gets nothing, but DO has so much going on it's no wonder something like that has to be experienced to actually be remembered. 48:35 You really should start adding the dripstone room into your treasure loop. You can see a bunch of treasure on screen here that you didn't pick up, and there's another good drop spot on the opposite side of the pool. In fact, that whole wing of ice caves has a few good spots so you should venture further in than the TNT pile more often :)
I am aware of these spots, yes. I visited them a few times within this video. However, there were ravagers on both of those sides that I didn't want to move so I could keep my clean loops.

If you do a heavy treasure run keep in mind you generate like 5 clank as soon as you put your compass in the spot! So treasure run before grabbing your artifact is best! Good runs!!

I'm not getting to this until Monday morning US time but I really enjoy this format, Pearl. Thanks for throwing them together like this. It's nice to see you progress 💜
Thanks for uploading these, Pearl! These are amazing, and you're doing so well! Your deck is growing so fast, and you're honestly playing it very well! The only recommendation I would want to give is to explore level 1 a little more. You're staying with familiar spots (which isn't a bad strategy), but you are missing out on some important treasure spots near the TNT area.
You can learn all the dungeon sounds in the tutorial room opposite the scoreboard in the main hall. The tip toe nose you keep hearing plays whenever you block clank and you will see the amount of clank block you have queued up decrease on the map as the sound plays.
7:20 I think the best part about Fuzzy Bunny Slippers is that I think that means we get to hear the very serious, deep-voice of the decked out narrator saying the name of the card when the round starts 1:58:08 I'm pretty sure that's your clank block going nuts because there was a shreaker and you picked up an artifact, which are both noisy
I love all the Hermit’s DO videos, but you did an amazing job in creating a well compiled and entertaining episode! It really stands out! keep up the great work, Pearl!
I love the full length runs! And the title screen before each run. The only complaint I might have, is that I wish you spent a moment to read out the artifact you get. They all have neat flavor text.
Hi Pearl. Love your videos. And I am loving decked out and the fun sounds you make while running. I am not 100% sure, but I have notice in yours and other runs of portobello places for eggs and hidden areas. 1st It seemed like there might be a egg in the crypt foyer on the left stairs area at the top of the stairs on the wall with a spiderweb in the way to a 2 block tunnel just before the 1 block wide ice pile. 2nd I also think there might be one under the left stairs in the crypt foyer hidden in the ice. 3rd Also on the top part of the crypt on the first room on the left there is a 2 block tall painting as well.
Oooh Pearl 🙈 Every hermit derped somehow. Apart from that you are doing insanely good! Much skill. Much fun. 😊❤ I love how you edited or not edited the runs. Especially the little insert of your run, your current deck, level etc.!
Even though the last run was impossible to finish, all the runs were amazing to watch (even the coward run, albeit not being able to scream into chat that you get nothing was a bit disheartening). You are so good.

Those were some great runs! Looking forward to any future videos and regular Hermitcraft videos as well.
7:20 I think the best part about Fuzzy Bunny Slippers is that I think that means we get to hear the very serious, deep-voice of the decked out narrator saying the name of the card when the round starts
1:58:08 I'm pretty sure that's your clank block going nuts because there was a shreaker and you picked up an artifact, which are both noisy
"I'll die if its in Spider Room," said the Australian 😂
Yours are my favorite runs of Decked Out. It’s so much fun to watch you play. Your reactions are precious.
Very entertaining to watch Pearl. Good job!
that's a great touch adding your deck!
Pearl: it's very relaxing
Ravager: and I took that personally
I love how much decked out content everyone is posting! I've been getting so much hermit watching time these past couple weeks.
Imagine collecting the most amount of treasure that any hermit has gathered in 1 run to then just walk out and get none of it...
I believe the button opens something under the lava in the next room
When you know that the next 2 hours are gonna be amazing 😍
1:11:48 there has GOT to be some hidden goodies either up the side of the cave or up that glowberry vine.
just when i was afraid of running out of videos, Pearl delivers! ❤
1:22:32 That bush regen was insane! Great video :D
56:15-Heyyy baby, you wanna piece of this pie? Mhmm I know you do. Dang it Pearl I spit green tea all over my monitor laughing
I think keys should have a reward value, like maybe being worth 1/2 or 1/3 of a coin.

Yes, the reason for that fall is to get you out of vex range when you leave.
Hi Pearl. Love your videos. And I am loving decked out and the fun sounds you make while running. I am not 100% sure, but I have notice in yours and other runs of portobello places for eggs and hidden areas.
1st
It seemed like there might be a egg in the crypt foyer on the left stairs area at the top of the stairs on the wall with a spiderweb in the way to a 2 block tunnel just before the 1 block wide ice pile.
2nd
I also think there might be one under the left stairs in the crypt foyer hidden in the ice.
3rd
Also on the top part of the crypt on the first room on the left there is a 2 block tall painting as well.
You, also, don’t get to keep anything….without artifact….at all.
Wow! You’ve built a nice deck! GG!
Pearl: Alright, it is time to go to level 2 now
Also Pearl: Oooh! Treasure
Oooh Pearl 🙈
Every hermit derped somehow.
Apart from that you are doing insanely good! Much skill. Much fun. 😊❤
I love how you edited or not edited the runs. Especially the little insert of your run, your current deck, level etc.!
You're so brave Pearl. Watching you run Decked Out is so scary but so amazing to watch!
Even though the last run was impossible to finish, all the runs were amazing to watch (even the coward run, albeit not being able to scream into chat that you get nothing was a bit disheartening). You are so good.
Run 6 was my favorite run that I’ve seen any of the hermits do. Pearl you’re a beast!!!
Well done! You certainly make the most out of your runs. Appreciate the quick summary of the settings at the beginning of each run.
Pearl you did great this phase! Your deck is looking solid and you manage the ravagers very skillfully! I'd watch such a long DO2 compilation every week!
