Forcing parents to take the membership, I was told it would be a 45 minutes session but it took 2 hours. They were manipulative, trying to hurt self respect so we put our child in their program. It was very costly for a UKG student.

@@chandrachudmishra2671 I guess He is not talking about the advertisement strategy but the sales strategy, LIC have multiple sales representatives who are planted amongst working class people which keep an eye on people's income , And call them time to time leading them to buy their products , even when they don't need those , some of them don't even have knowledge of finance and they claim to make false promises . Being said that those sales representatives are paid heavily in terms of incentives. I never heard complaints from any LIC agent of being bullied at workspace like I hear about Byjus.

Dont know but paying a unemployed master degree student tutor 1000 for 3 subject is cheaper and that student will give full concentration on your child . So 12K a year. I think that is better than PW,byjus etc

Because after joining the normal course they will ask to attend a meeting and the person from byjus will ask some unnecessary quastions to answer . If we cant answer it they will brainwash us and ask to join a course of 1 lakh . My father was close to pay the fees but we didnt . They are no.1 fraud . 🤬🤬😡

Once i was contacted for a free session with their employ , jab wo aaya usne Puri koshish ki mujhe niccha dikhane ki , i was in 7th and asking me to solve integration 😂😂😂, then after completing the session he just forced us to buy the subscription he bad mouthed my father , and told him ki apne bete ki jindagi kharab kare ho tum usse kuch nhi aata , and I couldn't handle the bad mouthing of my father , because he had been doing alot for us , the only time I used abusive words infront of my father was back then by saying him 'chala ja BSD , idhar fir dikha toh dekh tu ' then my father said if you don't leave we will be calling police ...
Wow, a byjus employee came to our home too, a few years ago when I was going to give my class 10 boards, he claimed to pass from IIT kharapur , what he didn't know was that my dad also passed from there... you could have seen the image of a deer caught in headlights when my dad questioned him on his sector, hostel location, etc. He quickly changed his statement that his dad passed from IIT and he didn't know much about it.
Duh, he kept insisting that I was slow and when that didn't work (I was good in studies) he tried flattery. Byjus is really annoying, they kept us pestering for so long time until my father put a firm statement that no I would not join. As a matter of fact, all online coaching centers are like that, even aakash is like that... they harass people 24/7 with phone calls and emails.

BYJU's business tactics are very bad. The way they train their employees to pressurize students and parents through calls, is just unacceptable. No sane person would appreciate that.

Ya there sales man cam to our house gave me some basic questions and i was unable to answer (like what's different between ray and line)i couldn't answer it cuz i forgot about it nd then he said that your basic are not clear
Then afterwards he started to call and said to take there thing but my Chad dad straight up said "humare pas utne paise nahi hai"(PS: i also scored around 90-95 in class 9 and i had my basic clear for the requirements of that class)

Their practices are illicit they show your child as under-achiever , that creates fear among parents which is their usp , the tuitions are expensive & too much PR is done regarding saying it'll changing you children's future blah blah but fact is that once you buy their products & fail to pay EMI they will threaten to pay you plus cancellation is a impossible with refund not being given , they're so active in social media that if someone badmouth them then they make sure that post is deleted (seen it on LinkedIn) . & For employees it's that worst practices which are adopted for selling products. Often they're are abused by their seniors.
They just force you to buy things...i m an upsc aspirant and they said, if you don't buy byjus you won't be able to clear upsc cse and even if you clear u ll be an old IAS officer at the age of 32..i m doing my own preparation nd this is wat they said again nd again in the call explaining their schemes...nd they call whenever we download a PDF we find useful from their site

As a topper in class 10 12 th and neet UG of my district and currently a medicine doctor in Kolkata A request to all parents. I can assure you Byju is something you better avoid. Concentrate on your school and regular tution. It is more than enough for the career. BYJU will more likely to destroy than build your children's career.

In my class 10th I scored 96.4 percent this year without any online or offline tuition.Its all about ourselves how we do it and it doesn't depends on tuition.(even my teachers did not do muc good.I did subhect like social science and science all by myself).

This video was very important to me, it taught me not to believe everything you hear on a podcast
Its like after sale service of some famous brand. Once you bought anything from them then its your responsibility what they will do is they will try to extort money from you.
Both are different things . Byjus use many many tactics and in a way they actually force the parents to buy course for their child and they are trained to do so . They make the parents believe that their child don't even have basic knowledge . Continuous phone calls, sometimes a home visit without prior information is their strategy .
Byju's tactics: Comes to home stays even if it is 11:30 at night until you give 3000 rupees and at least take a demo trial of their products and courses ( My personal experience at that time I was studying at 7th and my father was out of station ,he took a fake aptitude test asking me 12th class questions literally not joking and then stayed upto 7-11:30 until my mother had to give him rupees 3000)
My sister and brother works at byjus and there are in the helpline team and they tell how inefficient and stupid there management is.
And the sales team also scams people buy promising fake refund deadline to meet there target.

My friend worked in Byju, BDA, his father died due to covid, on the day he died, my friend was forced to work to work even after multiple calls to HR, if he doesn't come, he would be fired.
I will still prefer physical tuition if kid (not students after 8th grade) need for certain subject, only because he will be more socialize which he won't in online
As a student doing byjus right now, i can confirm that it sucks. Half the teachers cant solve doubts and from tge students perspective, all they do is solve textbook questions. They hold live classes and they teach nothing in them. I would advise u to study on your own. Byjus isnt worth it
What i think that with LIC there's a certain amount of gain at the end or after but with byjus even if you are a topper then even there's no certain percentage of chances that you will gain something from what you invested your money in byjus

My brother's daughter didn't even attend one class as she was not interested... We cancelled 3 months back... Still EMI is going on...
