Garis snorted disdainfully as he observed the primitive human structures below from his drop ship, envisioning the display of their skulls on pikes as trophies after effortlessly quelling their feeble resistance. The Cathari Empire had conquered a hundred worlds, and these humans would be no exception. Garis, a battle-hardened Cathari warrior with numerous planetary invasions under his belt, found the humans laughably primitive. Their rudimentary space travel and lack of energy weapons made them as insignificant as insects.
