It looks like you all are having fun😆Just out of curiosity, did you start learning to skate with hockey or figure skating? I am a beginner in figure skating and I'm wondering if I can attempt some freestyle moves after watching your tutorial🤣
😆 Thank you! Where we used to skate, there were a lot of figure, hockey, and freestyle skaters so we just watched all of them. We watched how they move, shift their weight, and we tried to copy them as best we could. I’m %100 sure you can learn how to freestyle skate. Tip: Don’t learn freestyle stops with figure skates. Hey there! What move do you think should I try to learn first if I want to become a freestyle skater, and what should the progression be (I.e. edge work)?
Hey! I would say the grapevine. That’s probably a good start. Once you master the fundamentals of a grapevine, the skills you learn from that will transfer to any other freestyle move you learn. If you have more questions let us know. Good luck!!
Hi! Why are skates so cheap? You skate well and skates should be the same.
