what nostalgia this song brings me! What good times when the second season came out, at that time I was only 14 years old and now I'm going to turn 20, what memories! :')
The first season was lit start to finish. Second half of season two was almost just as good. The third season was just strange and almost a chore to sit through at times. Still, there are some things I haven't stopped thinking about for years. When hanami's mother gets killed and she is running crying and kaneki finds her, the fight at anteiku where the manager and others die, when kaneki returns and Toka runs to anteiku to see him and that scene in second season when the snow falls and 'colour my world' plays, kaneki and toka getting married, etc. Even with a weak third season, this is still one of the best animes I've ever seen

(Mild spoilers warning ig?) In my opinion this song reminds me of Eto and her parents. As if Eto was looking back at her past, all alone. Wishing for her parents to come back. "Do you think of me? Care for me? I get so alone.." Eto was almost always alone for the early stages of her life. "When I look around all I feel is the pain inside. Another story of a broken hearted soul." Like her father, she was also heartbroken. (Feel free to correct me on any of this, it's been a while since I've watched the anime and I've only recently started reading the manga)
