Honestly, the beat is dope and they rode it fine. The only issue is the chorus. I’m sure that was Puff’s idea.
WAY better once they ended up with Ruff Ryders. Puffy had them sounding like a party gimmick.
That’s not true at all. Because after they left. They still made a variety of songs not far off from this as a group and individually. Look at their catalog after. There’s variety as they showed in the versuz. Them leaving had nothing to do with this song or making radio friendly songs. It’s always about money
