As to ‘why’ Layne touched Geoff’s hair - it hasn’t ever been said but I tend to think he is teasing Geoff about being ‘pretty’ as opposed to intimidating (as Geoff sings about how intimidating he is). Gaston is a part that Geoff tried to get at Disney World but he was not ‘big’ enough physically so didn’t make the cut.
They did a full rendition the first song that J later. By that time J had entered the military and Cesar had filled the baritone slot. Tony Wakim was helping with the production (co-owner of PattyCake Productions with Layne where this was filmed) so they had four baritones there at the same time ! (Layne was their original baritone).
Layne is wild in this one. I always enjoy the ACA Top 10 videos because he can show off his skills in them a bit more. Thank you for breaking down what he does and how it is done.

VoicePlay put out their first CD in a very long time last month ("VoicePlay Villains") with the full versions of many of their villain songs. While Geoff was still protesting that CDs are outdated, the success of his first solo one this fall and now VoicePlay's newest CD will hopefully cause them to release more of them. I enjoy listening to VoicePlay and Geoff ad free and in my car.
After I read this I went through all of my VP playlists and it is not there and I know I saved it because it was hard to find. The only thing I could find when Qofy reacted to it. When I clicked on the credits and clicked on the video it says it is marked private. I’m not sure what happened but that’s the only way you can see it because Qofy reacted to it a long long time ago.
