good plays man, it's a shame it doesn't put people on fire more consistently. I have the same problem with fire shotguns, it's fun using them but ultimately I died a lot because I hit them with a shot that would have outright killed them with normal shotgun pellets lmao

I wish the fire ammo types for shot guns and the bomb lances were better. Feels like straight buckshot or the harpoon are better. Or slugs and the steel shot being even better... although I still run the harpoon when I'm solo for the fast boss and meathead kills.
Yeah dragon breath takes a particular playstyle and loadout to work effectively, pairing it with long ammo though can be nice when you’re burning off health chunks.
@@Blackhawk23x A direct hit with dragons breath will instantly burn out 25 damage and set fire to hunters. This video isnt the best example though as it was recorded during the "Devils Moon" event where alot of people were running exclusive traits to combat burn damage. Aim for center mass in CQC and it can really do some work

@@Blackhawk23x yeah so all dragon breath works the same across shoguns and the Lance, there range and spread may differ though. The double barrel currently doesn’t have access to DB though. As for incendiary bullets, they won’t instantly remove health chunks like DB but will burn about 10 damage off alongside doing the full damage of the weapon, however it takes 2 hits to set someone on fire (unless the enemys health bars are already still recovering from fire damage in which case they’ll ignite instantly.) It’s a rather situational ammo but can come in handy in compounds with explosive barrels as they’ll instantly blow them up.
I’ve recorded a few rounds with it, had a pretty fun time. Will probably have a video dedicated to it in the next few weeks? Still got some others I want to edit and upload first though

Controls on console are really stiff and awkward so yeah if you push right you can probably get away with it, that being said more people probably run shotgun and other CQC weapons because of the stiff controls so it’s not necessarily always guaranteed

I've not unlocked it yet but my teammate has it and it's so effective against a.i. surprisingly quiet to use!
