Thank you for the video. Planned to do the same thing tomorrow. I am thinking of making a small ball using few plastic bags and put it inside the side holes to prevent the nuts from falling. Update: The socket which I had was not deep enough. So I stopped my work in the middle and got a new deep socket from the hardware store. The bolt is very lengthy. Make sure you have a deep 8 mm(5/16) socket before you start your work. Also, use the hold button to stop the trunk in a certain position. Just use the socket to loosen the nuts. Then use your finger to unscrew. That way you can prevent the nuts from falling.
got my reverse lights converted to LEDs as well and what a HUGE difference from incandescent. I don't know why Nissan decided to cheap out on these light fixtures, even on the top level Platinum trim, for a '22 model, they should have had all LEDs! Thanks for the video man!
Thank you. Great video. Nissan dealership intentionally messed up with the light & asked me to pay them $443 for light. I am going to replace this myself.
Hey man.. Thanks for the Video. Finally converted most of lights bulbs to LED on my 2022 Rogue SV. 100% agree with previous comments about Nissan going cheap on few bulbs!!! Still looking for the WHITE light for the license plate replacement. I'm not happy having all white lights except the yellowish license plate lights.
@@blacksharkus Hey man, one more question. I noticed you swapped out both the front and rear turn signals to LED bulbs. Do you ever experience any hyperflashing?
@@ItzEvannnn It happened during the upgrade... I'm just wander if it happens due to the "feature" of some systems that do it in order to indicate that one light bulb is out. The system should check for the current used in the circuit and if it is low means one light bulb is out. Since the LED uses less wats the system is assuming that there is trouble!.
Both of you. I have linked the [SEPARATE] video for changing turn signals. It's a different channel. He has the links for the lights. I used his video. Does nobody pay attention? This is a video for the BACKUP/REVERSE lights. There is a DIFFERENT video for the turn signals
I had troubles finding the link as well at first. Refresh the page and the "show more" dropdown link will appear. Press that and the item link will be there.
How the heck do you actually check to see if the backup light is working? How did you get your backup light to come on and go to the back of the car and check it?
@@blacksharkus Nissan the worst by far in recent times. I still remember removing my bumper in order to take out my headlight assembly in my altima. Removing a wheel to replace a lightbulb. Only Nissan....

This is awesome. Thank you so much. Do you plan on doing a video for the blinkers as well?
Thanks. Did you not see the link I posted in the video itself? At .29 sec 🔝 right
@@blacksharkus Ah yes, now I do. Had to click the icon in the corner. Thanks dude!

ACE Hardware
Hello, where did you get the lights from behind and forward, the signalmen, I like them, could you send me the link, excellent video, thanks
Did you check my description? Also my other videos have the links for the lights in them
Same as J Rico, There is no link in your video bro for changing turning signals front and rear. Watch it 3 times and there is no link

@@blacksharkus thanks bro, my android was not showing me a link for some reason, watched your video on iPad and there it is right at 0:25.

Thanks brotha great video 👍🏻👍🏻 any clue on the side mirror blinkers I’m trying to go all led ha
They are already LED
@@blacksharkus I mean white led not the orange
Do you know where I can find the aftermarket fog light unit?
No, because this video isn't about an 'aftermarket fog light unit'
How the heck do you actually check to see if the backup light is working? How did you get your backup light to come on and go to the back of the car and check it?
I can see it thru reflections on buildings or thru my backup camera
I am trying to locate how can to find the link for the turn signal.
Look at the link at :25 of this video. And listen to what I'm saying. I make it easy for y'all😎
Any issues with hyper blink/flash?
How would it be a hyper flash if it's a reverse light? It's constantly on
@@blacksharkus I was talking about the signal light. My bad if I didn’t make it clear
Do they blink twice or is that just the way it looks on video?
Twice
yoo bro, did you try to change a dim lights inside of your rogue? if so do u have a video?
Idk what a "dim lights" is & all the videos I have are the only ones
Cool ..
Damn oem bulbs fell out in the housing as I was taking it out. I can’t take them out!
Man that's some terrible Nissan engineering as usual. What a pain
All cars make it difficult to do light switches, Nissan isn't the only one
