I like how Mark and Misha seem to mix symphonic black metal with djent so seamlessly in this tune. As a huge fan of both black metal and djent, this is an absolute pleasure to listen to. :)
I've been coming back to Mark's PRS and Seymour Duncan vids just to hear those riffs and now I can finally hear it in full context....GOD I'm so happy!
+Dans Huang No offense to Misha, his mixing/mastering skills are lightyears ahead of where I'll ever be, but I like Keith Merrow's mix more in that Seymour Duncan video.
Now that I know there is a version of this with Devin Townsend's vocals on it, it is all I can think about. I have seriously been fantasizing about a Misha/Devin collaboration for so long, probably 5+ years. Especially, after listening to that Girlfight song "Fucking Fuck" Misha's sort of homage to Devin/SYL. Now just so no one takes this the wrong way. I think this song is already awesome on it's own as an instrumental and I never would have thought it needed or would really even work with vocals. But, after Misha mentioned that a version with Devin singing is already in existence, I can't stop imagining what it sounds like. And, after 50+ plays of the original this afternoon, I am really starting to think it could/would work really well with his vocal style(s). And now, I am so damn curious to hear it. Please release it SOON..... Misha/Mark.......PLS!!!!
1:58 ohhh that riff from Marks PRS video done by keith merrow.. This song gives so much black metal vibes.. So much Mracky and Mishy.. Thanks for the new Haunted shores.
Came here because of misha and periphery ....pretty glad i did. I'm enjoying this more than periphery. It's nice and brutal, atmospheric, technical...reminds me of why i got into metal half a lifetime ago. Cheers.
After listening to alot of bulb, haunted shores, 4 seconds ago etc. im happy that they all found each other. Good on their own, but legendary together.
I can't even describe how aweseome that is. Goosebumps all over the place even at places that cant even get them. I'm so done with the rest of all music now :D Guys you are my heroes.
Hank Hill I know you get comments like this all the time man but holy shit you're in like every damn comment section, so I said fuck it and subbed, just going through your like and favorite history might very well get me into stuff I would have eventually but just a lot sooner and without having to sort through as much garbage to get there haha
jase88rose Plus Bulb (AKA Misha from Periphery) has released some instrumental songs with the stage same Bulb. I think some of the Instrumental Bulb versions of some Periphery songs sound better than the Periphery instrumental versions of some of their songs.
it’d be so cool if like the guitarist or someone in Haunted Shores made another band where they could have a vocalist and recreate some Haunted Shores songs!
Ik I've been thinking about that for years.... Like if Scarlett or sentiment glow or something, just it'll never happen but we could dream. Fuck sucks we will never get that.
This song reminds me of Advent: One Wing Angel (FFVII Advent Children). Of course not but the elements are there from the soaring chords. Really works if its a fight between Sephiroth and Cloud.
Not the biggest fan of Periphery (yes, because of Spencer's vocals --sometimes they work, most times I hate them) so its nice to have some new and untainted Holcomb/Misha compositions. Also, while I dig the mind of poppy vibe Periphery has taken to, it's also nice to have some straight metal again.
Mark's right hand precision is outa this world. Really.
+Justin Lee yep. dudes a wizard.
Coz his right hand’s probably smashing the cymbal on the right in 4/4, not like everything around ha-ha
I like how Mark and Misha seem to mix symphonic black metal with djent so seamlessly in this tune. As a huge fan of both black metal and djent, this is an absolute pleasure to listen to. :)
3:53 - that breakdown holy moly. Haunted Shores always delivers. ALWAYS. Amazing job.
+Luka Markač Fucking hell, my face just disintegrated. \m/,
+Luka Markač Thall
+Luka Markač Whenever I listen to Haunted Shores I think "Never underestimate the power of the riff"
@@tombryant8471 no
love the black metal influence
But there aren't any Mexican people from Norway. It doesn't make sense!
+Hank Hill There you are!
+Hank Hill Its a pun
Watch the interview from distort entertainment with Mraky!
+Joesph Wallace Goose he is the master after all
+Joesph Wallace Goose I'm pretty sure he gets it.
No way Jose
This is sick! Can't wait for the whole EP ^_______^
+Sithu Aye Loved your Senpai EP!
+Sithu Aye PLEASE NOTICE ME!
I want to be noticed!!
+Jaakko Ihanamäki ATP!
+Augtivism ATP!!
3:53 I'M WAITING THIS SINCE WHEN I SAW THE PRS GUITAR VID OF MRAKYS
+kospley I loved both clips from the PRS demo and the Seymour Duncan demo. I too have been waiting for this song.
any link to that vid bro?
Enjoy.
watch?v=Pbt09pr5klY
Also enjoy.

gonzoe123
thanks bro!
We need a Playthrough video of this Mraky
3:52 -- Most creative and bad ass riff that i've ever heard. Before that it was Luck As a Constant's 4 guitar harmony part.
+Can Kurtoğlu You gotta listen to some Mastodon
+Can Kurtoğlu Yup, Mastodon is a great suggestion for this kind of stuff :)
I've been coming back to Mark's PRS and Seymour Duncan vids just to hear those riffs and now I can finally hear it in full context....GOD I'm so happy!

Good god the riffing in this song is astonishing. Mark Holcomb is a genius
You can haunt my shores anytime.
I can sense Misha's gaming inspirations in this EP
If only a developer contacted these guys to make their soundtrack, delicious.
Tight tight tight tight tight
Tight is right.
Goddamn! That Dingwall growls like a beast from hell, good job guys!
When the choir vocals came back in at 1:10 it sent a chill down my spine

+Joshua Foran You no come for Mraky too?
Yes yes yes... Nobody makes music this good these days. Dark, powerful, atmospheric.
The KVLT of all KVLTs
came here for the Hank Hill comment. Guess i'm early.
Also, the music is alright. :P
Lel
Blasting this to Dark Souls 3 fits so well
Man.. Trivium, Gojira and Dark Souls, I love you
I'm so glad that Harrison Fjord is finally getting the full production that it deserves on an official release!
already voting for best EP
always love mraky chord followed by some arpeggio stuff.
Great track btw!
He usually played in his video and I thought this was so impressive. I'm so glad because it finally came out.
It actually felt like my heart got ripped out when that breakdown hit
Love the way this ties in with the end of the album also.
After listening to alot of bulb, haunted shores, 4 seconds ago etc. im happy that they all found each other. Good on their own, but legendary together.
Tighter than my jeans
Bravo to Misha and Mrak! Your new baby is reaaaaally beautiful!
Never been a Misha fan until this most recent release.
very serene ending!
Dude, it’s such a seamless transition. It literally just melts away like ice.
ohhhh this is awesome! Can't wait for the full realease!
I can't even describe how aweseome that is. Goosebumps all over the place even at places that cant even get them. I'm so done with the rest of all music now :D Guys you are my heroes.
Tighter than handcuffs on a man resisting arrest.
+Logan Taylor GYYAAAHHHHHHHHHH
This is Yu Yevon's metal band.
Hahahahah. Good one!
Holly shit!! That intro gimme goosebumps
this is the gaga i've been waiting for, it is so beautiful, yas.
Was listening to Eric Bugenhagen's playlist on Spotify and this fucking gem came on and so did I. Will be listening to more of these guys for sure. 🤘
this is the song from PRS Holcomb model video! awesome song
I might have my genres mixed up but the bits at 2:55 and 3:53 give off a rather Celtic vibe. Like old Irish fiddle tunes.
Is it weird to say this sounds like Keith Merrow?
No, this sounds like Keith Merrow. Only more kvlt
*****
Yep. And more, I also comment on a shit ton of Game Grumps and Markiplier videos.
+Hank Hill You know you've hit the big times when Hank Hill starts commenting on your videos.
Jared Roth
Very true, my friend.
Hank Hill I know you get comments like this all the time man but holy shit you're in like every damn comment section, so I said fuck it and subbed, just going through your like and favorite history might very well get me into stuff I would have eventually but just a lot sooner and without having to sort through as much garbage to get there haha
this flipped my world around
I'm so fucking glad this song was made. The riff done in Keith Merrow's video finally is a full song !!!!
I put this in my favorites before listening to it.
+George Munoz Haha, same! It's Haunted Shores, I already know it's going to be amazing! =D
The first 2:00 definitely confirmed that Misha mixed/produced/mastered (idk I'm too fucking lazy to look it up) VoM's Eclipse for me
+Nick Winches he actually mixed and produced it. Eclipse was absolutely beautiful.
i like this
I wonder if Mark got inspiration for this song when he was visiting Norway! The song was killer!
Love how the ending chord progression ties in with Harrison Fjord
I hope Haunted Shores keeps releasing stuff because I like those guys guitar playing, but I hate the singer from Periphery
Then dont fucking listen to Periphery
Harrison Crutcher you can get instrumental versions of most of Periphery's catalog
jase88rose Plus Bulb (AKA Misha from Periphery) has released some instrumental songs with the stage same Bulb. I think some of the Instrumental Bulb versions of some Periphery songs sound better than the Periphery instrumental versions of some of their songs.
I'm paying for this so hard
I normally don't like blast beats but HOOOOLLLYYY SHIT, this song made a man of me.
This should be a boss battle theme in dark souls 3 or bloodborne.
Though, it won't happen, I'd shit my pants out of excitement.
All 6 years later I would happen to agree
Mark and Misha congrats! this song is pure genious, good fucking job boys!
so awesome and heavy my bones are on the other side of the room
A little bit of Harrison Fjord at the end. Yas. #sowetitslikeragingwatersdownthere
+Kyle Salaiz Hehe, well it IS the next track!
I know, but I'm just excited for this ep. Sounds sick, epic, and brutiful.
+Kyle Salaiz that hashtag can be read as"so we tits like raging waters down there"
Nick C hahaha.
+Nick C that's exactly how i read it the first time hahaha
GREAT JOB!!!...
Absolute fucking facemelter of a track
Perfect song to play Destiny with! It's so epic I love this fuckin song!!!
Periphery, Haunted Shores, can't tell the difference anymore
You don't have a good ear for music than..
+Brendon stacey maybe because I still prefer the first periphery's album
+jerry p yeah I agree with you
+jerry p I love their first album, but PII and Juggernaut are just as great. This, other than a few parts, doesn't sound like Periphery at all imo.
Love that Black Metal inspiration
this reminds a bit to the good!! old periphery stuff
I had never noticed the ending of this song contains the ground for Harrison Fjord
4:30 and onwards reminds me of Dark Souls for some reason...
hope there is some singing on this, I really loved Immaterial, terra firma and even passenger
Needs more recognition sounds like cathedral djent
YES!!
it’d be so cool if like the guitarist or someone in Haunted Shores made another band where they could have a vocalist and recreate some Haunted Shores songs!
Ik I've been thinking about that for years.... Like if Scarlett or sentiment glow or something, just it'll never happen but we could dream. Fuck sucks we will never get that.
That fuckin space outro. So good
Cooooooool
Just added this song to my wrestling workout playlist!!
1:37 - 1:57 is pretty good
very good rhythm throughout
I may be late to the party but I like this
Just heard this for the first time. Getting heavy bloodborne vibes.
Devin for singer on all Haunted Shores songs?!!!!!!
Back here for the 100th time today.
the ending is.. shit man.. fucking great.
This song reminds me of Advent: One Wing Angel (FFVII Advent Children). Of course not but the elements are there from the soaring chords. Really works if its a fight between Sephiroth and Cloud.
1:59 ethereal riffs
Dat ambient transition into Harrison Fjord tho
Not the biggest fan of Periphery (yes, because of Spencer's vocals --sometimes they work, most times I hate them) so its nice to have some new and untainted Holcomb/Misha compositions. Also, while I dig the mind of poppy vibe Periphery has taken to, it's also nice to have some straight metal again.
I don't even play Doom, but I can totally imagine slaying hundreds of robot demons with this blasting in the background.
1:11 best part
hell yes
every time i hear the intro i feel like im standing outside the shinra building for the first time
Subbed.
I feel like the snare is a little too prominent in the mix, but other than that this is awesome :D
Oh shit! now that you mention it...
+Danny Zabolotny i think a strong and solid snare sound is good tho :)
1:59 Dat fuckin riff tho!
Hot DAMN!
HUGE
Ghost reveries vibes in this song
Mark or Misha! We need some kind of tutorial video on this song!
This insane riffery reminds me of Omega.
Trve kvlt. Feelin' pretty G&F.
Are the drums programmed? i love it either way. Just curious.
+Matthew Pennington They are programmed. Definitely well done compared to some of the others I've seen.
Mraky mraky and marsha mandoor and the wacky packy pick attack ensemble
Fuck yeah!
feeed mee, satanus
