- "I want her there when they talk about her mother."
[Editorial note: Frisco/Jack Wagner had such a calming effect on Barbara Jean. She actually calms down while he's singing.]
Tony decides Barbara Jean should be at Tania's memorial service. At the hospital, Sean and Duke offer their condolences to Tony. At the same time, a patient of Tania's, Ethel Cooper, finds Tony and offers heartfelt sympathy--and shares that she's a recent widow, and so understands Tony's pain.
Each of the remaining Joneses remembers Tania in their own way and she is eulogized by Steve Hardy, the deserving patriarch of General Hospital.
This was the way GH used to be. A beloved character died and other characters paused and felt it. People grieved in a realistic way over a period of time. They had memorial services that were highly attended and not by extras.
This is GH at its best! Today's writers should watch these classic episodes to get an idea of how to get back to this style of GH
This was so sad.
Ethel says Tania was so loving, so giving. Exactly what Tony deserved.
It's just SO SAD TANIA REST IN PEACE.
Really hard not to cry😟
You're right, she was quiet and listening when Frisco was singing...then here comes Terri singing to start BJ up again, LOL! His voice actually soothes me too - love his voice :-)
They should have had Bobbie taking BJ out of the service for a diaper change. The crying was drowning out some of the lines.
it looks like the funeral was done in one take......very well done but still sad to watch :(
I've been watching GH for 45 years and I remember everything! This was one of the saddest storyline ever written in the history of GH!! Tania and BJ death was heartwarming I always said that even after these years GH should bring them back they are always bringing people back from the dead why not Tania & BJ
