Justin is fantastic!! Thank goodness for "Willie's Place" on satelite radio, playing his music, and other music like it. It's just too bad that other so called "Country Radio" stations will ignore him and others in favour of some "rocker" that will sing yet another "new" country song that sounds exactly the same as the last 10 "new" country songs. Long live singers like Justin Trevino, Leona Williams, Jean Shepard, Connie Smith, & Ava Barber. They sing REAL country music.
The very best two steppin singer in country music. Totally awesome voice, add the steel and the fiddle and it adds up to what we used to call Country and Western music. Not at all what they claim now!! Keep it up Justin!!! Theres alot of us out here that back you up 100%.
I know most of these people listening to this young man; and I know them well enough to see by the expressions on their faces that they were pleasantly surprised by his performance. It doesn't get any better than that; true legends enjoying the work of a young artist relatively unknown outside of Texas.
We are so proud to see a Mex. singing a Country song and all the big shots are listening to you singing the song! Keep up the Great Music! You will go a long way, wish you the best to come! You can sing, just as good and better than anyone that sings Country music! We love you, from the Valley!
When they took off the repeats of this show in England, I stopped watching TV and turned to RUclips!! Great to be able to catch up again. Super singing by Justin T! Many thanks for sharing :-))
Yeah, Justin is a friend of mine... he is the REAL DEAL... and he'll be the first to tell you he doesn't like all that 'modernized rock-n-roll country' crap!
This guy is one of the most talented singer/songwriters to come along in quite some time and he is pure country...just like it used to be. Loved it! Thanks for posting! God Bless, Jeff :)
Who the heck wouldn't like him? Great voice, great record producer, and works with some of the greatest country talent currently around like Georgette Jones, Amber Digby, Dicky Overbey, and Jim Loessberg. These some are my very favorite country music people. Go Justin, keep that big sound rolling. Heart of Texas records rules.
@CatRod53 Hey DON'T feel bad! I'm originally from Brooklyn, NY and I LOVE REAL authentic Country Music with a passion! The Country Music Station in Dallas, TX refused to play Hal Ketchum- One More Midnight Rider because as they claimed it was TOO Country! I told them to call their Radio Station something else but DON'T call it a Country Music Station if you are going to refuse to play REAL authentic Country Music!
This is a great video. I was trying to name some of the artists. Jean Shepard, Moe Bandy, Bill Anderson, Loretta Lynn, Barbara Fairchild, Mel Mc Daniels, I just love it. It is annoying when you see a face & forget the name. Margaret
I agree with all that posted comments, as a member of a country band it is getting harder and harder to find places to play GOOD Country music, if you have to travel some distance it is expensive petrol wise and you price your self out of the market, venues, club are closing down, not like it was in the 70,s and 80,s.
I went to high school with Justin. Lockhart High School in Lockhart, TX. We had senior English together.
met him at st louis steel guitar convention this year what a wounderful singer a person tru country not like todays crap
