I never cease to be entranced and amazed at this remarkably talented young lady. Wishing her only the best. Thank you for sharing.
So glad, I'm in a small group of people that actually love the old blues. It's hard to find people in my generation that appreciate this Historic Art
Still relevant to this day:]
Have no fear. So long as there is, joy and pain, exuberance and melancholy, fear and courage, love and hate, hope and despair...them blues...them deep down real blues...them real FOLK blues will never fade from this earth.
Just look at how far it's spread across time and space.
☝🏽💙....🎶
what generation, if I may ask?
Pretty LARGE group, in my experience....
She's a shining star. Her guitar playing is superb. Her voice is angelic.
i've been around awhile. that said, i saw and listened to and met reverend gary davis in a small coffee house in lake george, n.y. in the early '60's. he's smilin' right now muireann 🙂
Such an astonishing player, it's good to showcase that beautiful voice too... This gig was among the best I've ever attended.
rubbish awefull dreadful annoying irritating whinning
A star is born. Stay grounded and keep shining your light.
Wondrous renditions of the timeless beauty that is country blues. Such a joyous young resonance ringing out, in contrast to the pervasive blandness of auto tune and AI. Thank you Muireann..
Lovely to see a new generation preserving this music.
These songs are part of the Cannon of American music greatness! So wonderfully crafted
The voice of an angel and mesmerizing guitar prowess
Hits the ear pallet in a powerful way. So unique and organic. Big times ahead! 🙂
Not really mainstream music though and with very limited commercial appeal.
My favourite track from her album. Unbelievably talented player.
2024 started off with a BANG!! caused by this young Irish girl....I hope she makes loads of albums.
Something special here ❤
I dont see it all that often but like you I think I see something way out of the ordinary here in young Miss Bradley ❤
Unreal I’m so happy that she’s doing well she’s a great wee player top notch… cheers from Armagh 🎸🎸🎸🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
Muireann is one of three or four young singers who could potentially be a true World Famous Star. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Some people just have it, another fantastic performance Muireann ✌
You have a long amazing career ahead of you. Please come to the US sometime. Safe travels. ❤👏
Congrats to her Dad for showing her this music style. I love delta/ country blues and she is so good. Please come to USA.
This young songbird is fantastic. We will be hearing her for many years to come.
She's amazing she's so shy about her talent I hope there will be a full UK tour in the near future!
She's only 17 and probably still at school.
Wonderful free phrasing.
The superb technique and guitar playing goes without saying when watching this young talented woman play it her vocals are equally wonderful. Her vocals are greatly improving. Looking forward to follow her career!
Talent + Dedication = Pure Magic. Love it.
Outstanding! Incredible sophistication, especially from one of such a young age.
I think 2024 will be your year Muireann!
Thanks for making this old mans day every time you post. Im blown away by the beauty of your performances. Thanks Muireann.
Wonderful performance, i never get tired of hearing your version of these old blues songs.Thank you Muirean.
The female Irish Billy Strings on the Horizon
this is so great! keeping finger style blues and ragtime alive! Thank you!
Wonderful! Thank you
Fabulous, talented…….pure pleasure to hear her.
Beautiful performance Muireann,
The Reverend Gary Davis was an incredible talent. Well done Muireann!
Great to see this footage! Hope some more appears soon, was a real buzz in the room that night!! ❤
I love this, fantastic voice and incredible consistent guitar work. Its a totally fresh take , a new perspective on an old song, and will encourage younger people to listen to these lovely songs, whereas they wouldnt otherwise. This music is strong enough to evolve and be suited to different voices and people. Her voice in this song is just mesmerising and takes it to a different place again. Look forward to seeing you in Cork and Dublin soon
What a wonderful fresh talent. I hope she remains humble and gets the recognition she deserves. 👍👍🇨🇦
Unsurprisingly awesome. Wonderful stuff.
SUPERB.....again
Spectacular
Wonderful and the audience listening instead of chatting. :)
Fantastic.
I'm so glad you're bringing Rev. Davis's songs back for people! They need to be heard!
Beautiful :-) Peace
simply superb 💯
That was great. Keep stackin' up them songs.
So excited for you Muireann you are amaZING! Lookin forward to hearing so much more 🎁🎶🎵
Melody is from "cocaine blues", one of my favorites from the Reverend. Excellent picking! It's heartwarming to know that at least few people worldwide still care and appreciate the old fashion blues and ragtime guitar. Keep going with the good work, greatings from Sicily.
What a star! ❤
simply amazing
Very like you got the pocket book I got the key in parts !! Lovely playing
looking forward to seeing you live
Brilliant as Usual 👏
Just beautiful. Wonderful. You just keep getting stonger Muireann. Onwards! x
She is wonderful.
Congrats on your amazing tour, onwards and upwards Muireann 🎉
Lovely!
Absolutely fantastic stuff, love the album but the tracks sound even better in a live setting, well done! :D
Ah, another classic, Muireann! I think we must share most of the same set list. 😂🤣 I must admit that your voice is a lot sweeter than anything I could do though. Love your take on the melody too - I sing it much straighter, but you give it colour that I’ve not heard anyone else do. Congrats on the tour, but next time come to Manchester - I bet the Blues Cafe would snap you up!😊
Sublime! Thank you.
You are absolutely amazing. If I gotta fly a million miles away to see you preform I will
Awesome! I'm so glad that you're carrying the torch, Murieanne. 👍
Super talent . Love it!
Great filming...nice touch. Thanks!
You keep knocking it out of the park! I love the old acoustic blues and nobody is doing it better than you right now. ❤
So happy for your success and for hopefully introducing people to Rev Gary Davis. Would love to hear you take on “There’s destruction in this land”
I love Rev. Gary Davis music and love that you play it! Great job.
Seen you twice now Murieann! We got home late from a day out in London on New Year’s Eve, were exhausted, all alone (having just moved back to the UK from Canada), feeling sorry for ourselves… and out of nowhere you popped up in Jools Holland. We booked tickets to this MOTH Club gig about 2 minutes later. You were sensational here even though the nerves were obviously there. Then we booked tickets for Grand Junction as soon as those came out - and again. You were even better. The confidence just keeps growing! We look forward to seeing you again in London soon or up in Scotland or even Ireland later this year. Keep it up!
Brilliant. Just brilliant. Enjoyed this so much.
Just popped up on my YT mix
Very Good xx❤
Wow! I really love how she put her own spin on this one.
Amazing girl. ❤
Beautiful, as always..
Very, very well done!
So amazing a talent bringing this style of music back to us. Keep going, just grabbed the album from iTunes. Sensational
Such a fantastic talent ❤
So refreshing to see such raw talent in this age of electronics and auto tuners. Nice to hear the old country blues brought back also. You're knocking it out of the park young lady.
Well done Muireann!
Just one word astonishing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A beautiful, woesome song, brilliantly delivered. I guess Muireann is on her way to bigger things.
Woesome?
@@Wobbz9413 " all the friends I ever had are gone" yes woesome 😢
What a precious performance, really touching.
Very nicely done, Muireann. You might also enjoy David Bromberg’s version on his first album.
Amazing! I love that old song.
Us fans of the acoustic blues owe Stefan Grossman a huge debt. Have you ever met him, Muireann? I'm sure it would be a joyful meeting for you and for him. He's got quite a catalog of blues records and I hope that you will too as time goes on. "I Kept These Old Blues" is a real treat and I'm glad we're also getting to see these videos of you playing live.
Jan 29th was my birthday!!! Wish I were there. But I'm stuck in New York City without a ticket in my hand or a dollar to my name. Oh how can I get to where you are? - mmhmm mhmm. Well, Muireann when you fly over the pond that sure will be grand. That sure will be grand.
She's supernatural!
Muireann, goosebumps when you play guitar and more when you sing!! Keep doing what you do so well! Looking forward to owing every one of your albums! From a Cape Town fan.
She is magic. Long may she serve her talent.✌️❤️🇨🇦Lucky us!
Please come to Cork
Going to see you in Belfast in May how lucky am i!!
Beautiful. I bet it was a fantastic night.
You're getting your chops. Haunting song, hauntingly sung.
Amazing talent ❤ i’m a huge fan , can’t get a record on vynyl for love nor money though . Can you tell your record label to sort there lives out and print some more copies , you go girl!!!!
More!
There is a little hint of ‘You’ve Got The Pocketbook’, which of course is another Gary Davis tune. This is a great rendition of Delia and I’m trying to buy the album but they’re all sold out. The future for Muireann is rosy. Absolutely fantastic picking and I can hear het voice maturing each time she releases a new RUclips song.
I'm a huge fan Muireann and I really look forward to seeing you live one day! Keep doing what you do, and I'll keep listening :) I think Frankie and Shake Sugaree are my personal fav's
Vocals as legit as her finger picking. Continued success to you Muireann .
Medicine for the soul!❤
I love your work and would absolutely go see you if you come close enough! Keep it together, malady!
Bravo! I just listened to Roy Bookbinder's version. I like him but I enjoy you even more. Cool thing... He is performing at a local venue here in Florida and guess who is the opening act. Yep me! I am so honored. (I know, I am tooting my own horn) I have to say though Muireann, It has been along time since I have been this excited about a new country blues finger picking artist. You rock. I hope you make to Florida someday
damn!
Lovely!!
