Hey thanks alot for the support everyone. Not my best performance, most likely my worse one ill ever have. I'll readjust and train harder so this doesn't happen again. My opponent was very tough he knew the game plan and my background and executed how your suppose to in this sport
It's all about experience brother that's what makes us better as a species. Obviously you're gonna take losses because you absolutely have to at some point. I love watching you perform bro, came here from watching your street beefs action but none the less it's some good shit. Stay motivated and humble. There's not too many fighters w that attitude and it's inspiring no doubt.
I'm sure you learned a ton from this fight. He had a pretty noticeable weight advantage, definitely not good if the guy's a grappler, but fair play to him!
How much can one really prepare themselves to go up against a #2 ranked PRO fighter with a 1 WEEK notice?! Respect to FP for taking the card after 3 other opponents backed out. Really? 3? Yes, Killswitch looks to be very skillful on the ground, but doesn’t that make him one-dimensional? With 90 days notice, I feel we would have seen a very different fight. I feel like Fairplay is very good with anticipating his opponent’s intent and following with fast counters that exploit. With more time to examine tape and learn, I bet this one would go the other way. Great fight and congrats to KS for the W.
Hey man I respect you posting your losses, but that was an extremely boring fight on your opponents part, I could tell that you are the better striker out of you two, he couldn’t stand up and fight with you so he settles for long boring ground fight and didn’t have any intentions of doing a submission. Credit to him for the takedowns, but just wish he challenged himself to stand up with you
Gotta train the takedown defense hard or people will keep trying to exploit it. MMA is a grappler's game now. If you can stuff the takedown attempts you will truly shine as a striker. Also gotta be careful with those low kicks, they provided easy takedowns.
Man those commentators and people in the comments need to have more respect. Everybody who gets in the cage is putting it all on the line. Even if I get knocked out in there, at least I’m in there. FairPlay you are a great fighter and awesome guy, ignore all the haters. Anyone who is familiar with mma knows that having your hands low is a style that can be effective especially when you have the reach and speed advantage like FairPlay did in this fight.
I know I'm not a fighter but from observation seem like you need to tighten up on your striking so you can be positioned correctly to respond to the takedown attempts
There different fundamentals to defense styles and head movement depends on how high your hands are. The lower the hands the faster the movement. The higher your hands the slower you get. I knew I was the fast guy but got out strengthen by the grappling.
fighting a little more short and square helps against grapplers and respecting your power shots and pressuring when their takedowns feel half assed. Other than that my other advice to you big homie is to always try to fight lower when you know all they wanna do is take you down i felt like you were making yourself to tall and sticking to a showman’s style💯💯💯 all love tho compadre
i know you probably don't want to make excuses for yourself and I don't want either, but the circumstances weren't exactly on your side. Nonetheless, no true fighter should expect to always win, but instead should only desriee to win. Be it the actual fight or just experience. congrats and good job, may you grow more out of this Fairplay.
Sorry but this MMA Shit on the Ground really sux ... i wanna see FairPlay in a Ring not a Cage! He moves and acts like a real King in the Ring and i would love to see him boxing again ... 😞 BUT his Fight wasn't that bad either so keep on going and dont forget where u came from. 👍 (Sorry for my English i am not a Native Speaker and not very talented in learning Languages^^)
"I wonder what he's got left in his tank". Plenty, mister I can vouch for that. Stamina isn't an issue. Learn from this one, FP. Not sure why, as they said, you come out hands waist level. I suppose it gives you a 50/50 movement high or low in defense. I KNOW you've got the standing game, I guess the ground game is the more preferred by a lot of fighters I've seen. I'm just armchair quarterbacking so I can only comment on what I see.
Complete garbage. There should be a rule in MMA that if you're doing groundwork, you gotta do better than just lay on top of the opponent for 3 minutes at a time.

Need to see you in boxing on an undercard 😭🙏🏽
Fall down ten times, get up eleven times. Keep up the hard work. Nothing good comes easy.
FairPlay! He knew it was over for him unless he got you on the ground. He didn't wanna trade blows with you 😂
Hang in there bro. Just keep training hard and use this loss and all the hating as fuel to light that fire! Lock in bro
Nothing can stop you!! You are on the path to Greatness Fair play
You're great fighter you'll get him the next time.

Definitely a learning experience
eyy fairplay please never stop fighting. even if you loose your passion, it will comeback
Proud of you man!!
Crazy they didn't stand you up one time. No change in position, just laid on top of you for the whole round.
Damn you could see the Strength and weight difference

It's funny how the meta is both low kicks and grappling rn
20 lb weight advantage, at least! Not the best first pro fight for my man Fairplay to take but he’s a warrior…
streetbeefs is a whole different ball game than a professional fight. Got to keep your hands up man. Got to.
Some of this is nerves

Champ!!
Thank you Sir . It’s an honor hearing from you
@7Dejon been trying to keep up with you and don't know why your videos hasn't notified me
@@rickbeastrandolph I’ve been very inactive that’s probably why but I follow you alot on FB
Hands up! I have a video of you training my son and making him keep his hands up, why didn’t you follow the simple basics of defense?
There different fundamentals to defense styles and head movement depends on how high your hands are. The lower the hands the faster the movement. The higher your hands the slower you get. I knew I was the fast guy but got out strengthen by the grappling.
But what are your best attributes? Your hands and reach…. It sucks to see you in that type of domination
fairplay OP AF

This is what I was afraid of when you went pro your an amazing fighter but the only thing that's missing is the fight iq
You have speed strength heart precision instinct durability and talent height but all that is missing is skill=fight iq
he def has fight IQ tho..its evident in his street beef fights. Going into the lights/big leagues can change a lot mentally for fighters tho too
@@Karl_Drogo55 but the one think that will make a big impact is to raise the grappling fight iq wrestling wise
@@Karl_Drogo55 true though

Terrible fight from your opponent, very boring, been backing you since the slacks and suspenders, wish you all the best from london
I’ll try my best to keep fight like this from happening. Thanks for your support from so far as always 🙏🏾🇬🇧

a boring fighter to put you against. dude cannot strike or submit he just tackles. doubt he makes it far with that skillset
This fight was trash 🗑️
