I like this idea. I think that the dry probiotics in the probiotic capsules are being activated and ready to help digestion as soon as it is consumed. Also, the probiotics will have multiplied to a higher count. The dry probiotic capsules are not even awake after leaving the stomach. I am going to try this out for sure.
Nice video. One thing I might add is to not add seeds of seeded fruit when fermenting. Use the fruit, not the seed. Some fruit seeds could poison your ferment. Well done. 😊

Good bacteria feed on inulin and fiber bound non refined sugars. Adding refined sugar to this means you are more likely to feed your candida than establish a healthy gut. Try adding garden of life inulin and at most 1/2tbsp honey or rice syrup/coconut sugar next time. Bet you notice a big difference in effect.

@2k GoDsZ Its complicated, if all sugars are used up in fermentation/bacterial growth then its fine. Fructose has to be converted in the liver which creates waste detrimental to the liver and outside it. Did you know that sugar (sucrose) is deadly to many birds and insects? First line of defense in the cells outer membrane is sugars. So it is complicated, however, the small amount of various sugars we get from fruits and vegetables is enough for our microbiome. Nice job! Thank you very much for your posting. So, does it sometimes take more than 3 days to start to get bubbles? Also, what would you say it should smell like when it's working right? Does it have a neutral smell or does it smell like vinegar?
It really depends on the temperature and constituents in the jar. If the condition is right, the probiotic bacteria can replicate fast and lots of bubbles will be produced. The smell would depend on how much apple cider vinegar there is in there. The amount that I used was not a lot, so after 3 days it smells somewhat fruity. Depends on the type of fruits you put in as well.

Could you do this without the fruit and apple cider vinegar, maybe by adding some more sugar? I'm wanting to grow a very specific probiotic strain, and I wonder if the yeast/bacteria on the surface of the fruit would compete with the probiotic. I've grown kefir using just the culture and sugar + water.
hellomeoww, I too am wanting to culture a specific strain, and have no idea what type of culturing route I need to go down. Have you found any really good info beyond the video explaining anything?
@Chrissy You really don't need to add apple cider vinegar. Yes, you can use any vinegar - or even plain white vinegar. Fermented vinegars (with the "mother" or live cultures) will have other bacterial and fungal species that will compete with the bacteria from the probiotic capsules. Vinegar is added to quickly drop the pH (i.e. make the fruit juice acidic) which will favour the growth of the bacterial species you intend, rather than bad, unwanted bacteria. You only need a small amount of vinegar, just one or two teaspoons. But you can still ferment without even adding any vinegar. In this case, use a 2% brine or salt solution, along with the sugar. However, brines are best used with veggie ferments rather than fruits, as the fermented juice will taste really salty! Personally, I add a pinch or two of salt, plus vinegar if I'm fermenting fruit. By the way, it may be a good idea to sterilize not just the jar in which you culture, but the fruit you use, too. Boil the fruit first to kill off any unwanted bacteria and fungi living on the fruit. Let the boiled fruit cool, and then put into the jar with the water + vinegar and then add the bacterial spores from the probiotic capsules and the sugar (I'd use less sugar myself - half of what was used here). I hope this helps.
@Kkv boyzzz I guess you can. But lab procedures need to be really stringent, especially the sterilisation of all utensils and the fruit itself, as well as the work space.
every 2 minutes, 12 million bacteria are sent to work in the mines of this guy's gut where they'll be forced to work long hours with little pay....won't you help us support giving these guys better jobs? ....hehehe....where are the tissues?
add more water (leaving 1/5th of the container empty still, to allow room for gas build up) and as much sugar as you feel is necessary, too much might make it ferment very fast, causing more gas build up, causing the need to "burp" it more, but too little and it'll ferment slower and less.
Hi Afzainizam Zahari, Thanks for the video. I would like to know after the fermenting portion, how would we know the strains in the probiotic capsule would exist in our mixture? I was thinking if the other bacteria in the environment would overpower the strains from capsule that we want. Thank you so much.
You have to look out for black mould. That is the bad guy that we don't want to consume. ever. Make sure the bottle is closed all the time. You will know the original bacteria from the probiotics capsule has brown in numbers when you see the mixture is now bubbly. Don't worry about other bacteria in the air that might get in there.
From what I know, good bacteria from air can also ferment the fruit mix without having the mold come into the picture. When my mixture gets bubbly, how am I sure that the microbes in my drink are from the capsules and not the strains in the air? Thats what I really want to know. Thank you for your time. :)

Bro. Is probiotics supplement safe to use as starter or we should buy a starter culture for fermentation. Which one is better to properly ferment vegetables?
I use probiotics supplements because I know what bacteria will be in it. It can also ferment vegetables. You can also buy a starter culture if you can find one.
Will this work for any probiotic strain? I have a strain that is usually found in Mother's milk. However, I feel like I can use the fruit ferment to increase the populations of any anaerobic bacteria if given the proper sugar and fruit.
depending on the probiotic capsules, the fermentation process can take 48 hours or longer. Usually by the third day there will be a lot of froth in it.
Do You know why good bacteria levels decrease after You stop taking probiotics, and also around 90% of bacteria die in stomach before they reach intestines. How to prevent that, and overall how to make probiotics effect more permanent?
after you stop taking probiotics, all sorts of bacteria will still continue to live in your body. When you go to the toilet 1/3 of what comes out is bacteria. There is no way to prevent bacteria dying in your stomach. The type of foods we eat matters. Sweet sugary foods are what bacteria love to feed on. If there's more bad bacteria in your body, they will grow even more. Eating fermented foods will help to promote better digestion because the bacteria present in fermented foods will help to break down other foods that we have eaten that are in our body. These bacteria are the ones that help our bodies stay healthy. We have to consume good whole foods and also fermented fruits and vegetables. If possible, stay away from processed foods altogether. There is no way to make the effects of probiotics permanent without consuming good fermented fruits and vegetables. Even drinking just good apple cider vinegar everyday will help our bodies.
ed k keep in room temperature is best. If you keep in the fridge the bacterial activity will be very very slow and might even stop. For my case, it takes about 48 hours depending on the situation
Thx for the video, im gonna try this. But i hv question regarding, how long should i keep this drink until it really fermented? And after its fermented how long can i use it repeatedly?

hellomeoww, I too am wanting to culture a specific strain, and have no idea what type of culturing route I need to go down. Have you found any really good info beyond the video explaining anything?
Amazing super ideas must tries this thk a lots.
How much quantity of vinegar and what purpose? Also the lid must air tight seal?
What if you add tryptone into the mixture for probiotic formula!
how long before you make a fresh batch of brew and throw this one out? Thanks!
Yes, nice job. Very well done. Thank you.
LoL! 😀😀😀
if u want to make another drink u need new capsule or u can use the first drink as starter ?
Awesome video! So do I add the same amount of sugar when it's low? More water? Another probiotic capsule? Thank you friend
add more water (leaving 1/5th of the container empty still, to allow room for gas build up) and as much sugar as you feel is necessary, too much might make it ferment very fast, causing more gas build up, causing the need to "burp" it more, but too little and it'll ferment slower and less.
@@chadthundercocksexhaver3959 makes sense, thank you!
How do you get the probiotics survive the stomach acid, when its not in capsules or any protection from the acid.
Hi Afzainizam Zahari,
Thanks for the video.
@@afzainizamzahari It's been 5 days and I still don't have any brown threads in my mangoes. Will the fruit continue to ferment in the fridge? Thanks for this very informative video.
Sarah A Did you see any gas bubbles in the jar? Also, once it is in the fridge, the fermentation slows down to a crawl.
Make fresh probiotics with only 1 minute of prep. Don't dirty a single dish! Save your time and money. Even make delicious fat-free protein shakes with ProBiotics.
Very simple 😁 thanks!
you're welcome! :)
How long should it stays bubbly? If the bubbles are gone does it mean the probiotics all died?
How can gud bacteria be survived in stomach hcl as u have removed enteric coating that is capsule
I wonder if u could use a teaspoon of kiefer instead of the probiotic capsule?
this is a good question. I've never done it.... but I have a feeling it could work. You might like to experiment. Let me know how it goes!
Please suggest the best probiotics capsules or powder you have used as starter culture to grow probiotics at home? Please. UK Amazon or UK eBay please
Thanks for the video
I was wondering if I can culture probiotics just by emptying a probiotic capsule into water and sugar, without adding any fruits to it
doesn't hurt to try an experiment. So far my understanding is that the bacteria need something to hang on it in order for them to grow a colony. Those fruit pieces can provide this.
Afzainizam Zahari thank you
I guess I'll go ahead and try.
nice...im going to try this...would raisins make a good ferment? thanks
You can try! I haven't tried before so I'm not sure how it will taste like. You're going to need a lot of raisins.
thanks...raisins will produce a lot of sweetness; so less sugar i think
Hmm.... Yes try with less sugar... If there's no bubbling in 2 days, give it another 2 days for the bubbling to happen.
Please Suggest similar probiotic powder, Capsules for Starter Culture in England,UK please.
I bought a few But none worked. Maybe fake or Dead bacteria 🦠🦠🦠🦠🦠🦠🦠🦠
Good soft music thanks.
Love the info but...the video creeps me out.
The music, along with phrases like "what I desire...", and even the slow mo shot at the end...
Creepy as heck but I LOVE IT!
Seriously! Brava...or bravo.
Couldn't tell by the hands if it was a man or an older woman.
Most likely a female. Nails were clean and the music soft...and now I'm just rambling so thanks again and keep up the good work.
I made sauerkraut by using probiotic capsule. But the liquid is auiet slimy, though the smell and texture is fine, I'm scared to taste it. Is the slimy texture because of the probiotics ? I have made sauerkraut before without using probiotic capsules and it's juice was quite watery,so I'm a little skeptical this time.
Fantastic!
hello i followed directions and tested after 3 days using milk method and saw a change within 1 hour compared to testing the pill it took 30 hours!! my question (1) should it smell sour,?(2)how much should i take per day?(3)do i just skim liquid from top to drink? when i did the milk test i only used 1 teaspoon. thank you
BRAINWASHED hmmm I have no experience using milk so I can’t answer your questions really.
Great video bro! Thanks!
Thank you for watching!
Raman Johnson the only way to know is to try it 😄👍
when drinking this makes me feel good right after
How long does it taken to ferment? Thanks for the great video.
depending on the probiotic capsules, the fermentation process can take 48 hours or longer. Usually by the third day there will be a lot of froth in it.
thanks a lot ♥️👍🏼very useful video
You're welcome 😀
Is there a way to do this without the sugar,i want to use it for treating gingivitis using L.reuteri but sugar wont be good on my teeth
Can't use apple cider due to allergy... Would rice vinegar work?
Not sure how it will taste, but you can always experiment
thank you!
But i just have question after 24 hours or 2 days do i keep it in room temperature or I need to put it in refrigerator?
ed k keep in room temperature is best. If you keep in the fridge the bacterial activity will be very very slow and might even stop. For my case, it takes about 48 hours depending on the situation
Is this for lactobacillus salivarius?
Why add sugar? Is not sugar from the fruit enough?
most bacteria are able to quickly use glucose as compared to fructose (fruit sugar).
SobyitiyaNYC NO!
I understand the probiotics and the sugar plus fruit, but why a separate bacteria from vinegar?
Thx for the video, im gonna try this. But i hv question regarding, how long should i keep this drink until it really fermented? And after its fermented how long can i use it repeatedly?
Datez it takes about 2 days, depending on the number of live bacteria and also the medium they are in. You can keep reusing indefinitely. For me I will keep replenishing for about 2 weeks and then I’ll start fresh again.
Hello, thanks for this good video but i have a question.
when i open it after 2 days to drink , how much days i can let it open to drink it day by day?
Thank you
Kostas Karas you can open and close it as many times as you like. From my experience, it’s better not to leave it open for a long time. Once opened to pour out the content, close immediately.
can you add this to milk for making yogurt?
i almost cried
The pharmacies will go bankrupt! Genius :)
Squares and then they will stop selling the pills that make the drink :(
Why tf would this make pharmacies go bankrupt? 99.99% of phatmacies money is coming from legal heroine, amphetamines, and barbituates. And alot of it is coming from them profitting off of cancer patients
Why the apple vineager?
you say to add more water vinegar and sugar ( or raw honey i hope is ok) but why dont u need to add more fruit ? when you replenish
Oh... for this case I'm assuming that the fruits are not consumed and will remain in the jar.
@@afzainizamzahari so when fruit goes low add more?👌
That's right 👍 the fruits are the prebiotics
I currently brew Jun Kombucha and Water Kefir... can I use some kombucha instead of apple cider vinegar as a starter?
Aleesha Sattva oh kombucha! Hmmm... not too sure how it will taste like, but i’m sure it will also work in place of apple cider vinegar
First, thank you for the video. I was wondering, is this the same process for making say a laundry protein stain remover...you know something like Bioclean, Natures Miracle, or Roccos and Roxies?
Keishapc hmmm, i’m not sure about that. I don’t have any experience doing those things.
How would store it after its done fermenting? Keep it on the fridge and leave it there? Also when the water finishes up, I tried adding ACV and Distilled water but it didn't seem to fizz like it used it.
You can store it in the fridge if you like. Did you try to use new fruits?
@@afzainizamzahari no I didn't, I just added ACV and Distilled water to the old fruits. Shall do that and add honey next time? I feel like it'll be over crowded if I add more fruits
I think the old fruit you can eat them or just compost them. Then add new fruits. Honey! Hmm not sure because honey is anti bacteria right? Let me know if this works!
Informative. Thank you for sharing
thank you for watching!
