From Wikipedia:
Nashua is a city in southern New Hampshire, United States. At the 2020 census, it had a population of 91,322,[3] the second-largest in northern New England after nearby Manchester. Along with Manchester, it is a seat of New Hampshire's most populous county, Hillsborough.
Built around the now-departed textile industry, in recent decades Nashua's economy has shifted to the financial services, high tech, and defense industries as part of the economic recovery that started in the 1980s in the Greater Boston region. Major private employers in the city include Nashua Corporation, BAE Systems, and Teradyne. The city also hosts two major regional medical centers, Southern New Hampshire Medical Center and St. Joseph Hospital. The South Nashua commercial district is a major regional shopping destination, lying directly on the Massachusetts border and taking advantage of New Hampshire's lack of sales tax. It is anchored by the Pheasant Lane Mall and numerous smaller shopping centers.
Nashua was three times named one of the "Best Places to Live in America" in annual surveys by Money magazine, most recently in 2022. It is one of many cities nicknamed "Gate City" because they are seen as the entry point, or gateway, to a region.
I'm watching this on July 5th. I have followed you through Florida to Texas and points in between. I'm 72 years old, and know I'll never get to these places, but yet you take me with you. Keep doing what you're doing.
Hey Earl…..my apologies in the way the world and society is headed.
Your generation deserves a better effort that this generation seems to be capable of giving.
Sorry bud.
3:41. The place on the left is where I lived for a long time. 😢. Thank you for showing it to me once again. It means a lot
Thumbs up . My hometown .
Same
What are some pros and cons living there?
@@ShepherdMinistry Well....not a lot of crime and no sales tax....But the rent is outrageous and everything super expensive . People always say "oh that's everywhere" , but it's hard to survive here . I know some people are paying over 2k a month for a small 1 bedroom apartment . People keep moving here and that is a big part of the problem . Not a lot of available housing .
Mine too.
@@Metalkitty33appreciate the response! Would you say Manchester is more affordable?
Nashua, NH is one of 2 county seats of Hillsborough County, NH while the other is Manchester, NH. To get to Nashua from Boston, take US 3/Everett Tpke. Okay, I'm seeing counties in Combined Statistical Boston having 2 county seats such as Plymouth County MA, Middlesex County MA, Essex County MA and this county I mentioned. Counties with 2 seats are rare in the United States and some are in Alabama, Georgia, Iowa, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Kansas, Missouri, Mississippi, New York State, Vermont and Arkansas as well.
I will be moving to Nashua in a couple months. Will be my first time living in New England. Looking forward to it!
Beautiful city, great state.
My home town. My father, brother, and I were Nashua firefighters. I haven't been to Nashua in over six years, as of 1/12/2024.
What are some pros and cons living there?
hey im the black volvo on main street from 2:03 to 2:19. didnt expect to watch one of these and see myself but what a coincidence. im even more suprised that you caught me doing the speed limit.
Thanks for great video; especially helpful that you added street names so I could follow you on a map.
No problem!
No lie you got my mom in this😅
Ah my home city
Nice ride in Nashua NH
Thanks for the ride.
Dude you just went by my house!!! HOLY SHIT
Hey Mike, can you please do Sunrise Highway (NY 27) both Westbound and Eastbound? I will greatly appreciate it.
I will be in Nashua, New Hampshire.
I'm only watching because I wanna leave North Carolina and Google said this is the safest place in the world...I just lost my son and I don't want my daughter here I'm scared for her
I mean all of New England is safe but Nashua is definitely not the safest in the world..
@@dg321_exactly
You may want to rethink unless you want to pay about 2k a month for rent . No joke .
It most definitely isn't the safest for a young kid. It has its problem's and it's too expensive. But so are nost New England Small cities. Nashua is probably the least of your big ones in Mass.
Second highest rate of Opioid deaths in the country in 2019 was in Nashua. I was surprised because it is kind of bucolic.
Wow I never would’ve guessed
@@MileageMikeTravels Nashua was also best place to live in the US . The drug problem got bad about 5 years ago or so .
@Metalkitty33 take it from an older resident. Unfortunately the drug problem predates just the last 5 years. Nashua had been the number one city many times in it's history, but the drugs go back to my generation Unfortunately. I'm an X'er. Before there was two high schools. Lots of drugs coming over from Lawrence, Fitchburg and Lowell Mass. All through the 90s. We lost a lot of good people 😞
It’s changed a lot for the better in the past few years
I've never seen the sky so clear and blue, until Maine, Now New Hampshire. So is the east coast this clear alot? You rarely see Indiana clear and sunny lol.
Yeah every summer . Trick is to live in new England in summer and Florida in the winter follow the heat !
Greetings from Colombia. What camera do you use to record the routes?
People really don't like to walk in Nashua, huh? I watched the first 10 minutes and didn't see a single pedestrian.
Outside of downtown its all sprawl
and nearly impossible to walk anywhere
Too big. I used to live on the west side of town there's atleast a 7 mile trek to Downtown on a su.mer day and usually through the nashua river trails.
It’s also winter and cold
Can you get to the end of I-95's important freeway?
Probably in a few more months. And we still need to work on others first.
How many miles long is this town from Concord?
About 40 miles .
Nashua is poverty.
have you ever been to Nashua?
@@chrysopssten2418 ya

Why did you leave?
Nice ride in Nashua NH
