did not work for my c6603(xperia z). i have charged my batter to full(it's 4.2v) but phone does not turn on. when i connect charger. red light turns on for about 30s and turns off. no power+ volume +/- method helps. it seems its completely dead...
@@neillu9288 but i have found a solution. Actualy i've found it on xda forum. Found,that one guy suggested connect any otg device via micro usb charge port on phone. I've connected one way charging cable,that other phone charge from my old xperia z and voila! It came back to life again. Hope it will ge usefull for somebody too

in my experience i had a dead boot Xperia s lt26i wich didn't turn on after I accidentally installed custom boot.img I'veed everything flash it with Sony flash tool but nothing the boot was modified so it doesn't recognize it but the something funny about it is after I lost hope itried to disasambled my phone and removed the battery and touched the emmc by accident then I was shocked the original boot.img was restored and it was recognize in the flash tool and it worked the lesson that I took is there's some secret Way's that I bet most phone factories have a special way to flash their soc chipset board that not any regular or a repair shop can use
mine was keep on rebooting and rebooting. after i fixed the software with the xperia pc companion it still doing it until a few minutes ago it stayed dead with red lights while the charger is plugged. the battery was having no signs of issue tho. long life span and charges well. Hey Dude Awesome but I am not good with electronics but I found a way around it with the sony xperia z. WOULD NOT CHARGE SOMETIMES I WOULD GET THE RED FLASHING LIGHT. The volume button up and power botton at the same time didnt work. Withe the xperia z they said there was no reset button but there is. Its not in the same place as the other models. This Little bugger is on the the bottom right side all the way down near the bottom. You cant even really see it. Its just a tiny hole . Hope that helps anybody else having the issue as I looked all over online and nobody seemed to know that existed for the z
+ramana sammeta mobile charge won't work because when the battery is deeply discharged we 9-12 volts to boost it. Mobile charger will give you 3.5-5 volts only.

Hello I wanted to ask. I bought a new battery for my Z2 and it does this Red Led thing. I have the old battery which is swollen but it doesn't have the Red Led problem it charges. So i wanted to ask if the new battery can be boosted or maybe it happens to be 'old'? I don't know if i explained well
@@mexesrexes4495 it really won't... you need some high heat to make the adhesive let go, and an ordinary hair dryer isnt going to do much in that regard

Hi, Hope this helps. I have an xperia zl and power button stopped working on my phone too 2years ago. When i plug it into the charger the signal light comes up (which indicated the phone is charging) then the sony logo comes up and the screen shuts down again . Tried following the steps iv browsed on the net and below is what worked for me: *Most experia phones have a small button somewhere to restart the phone which is separate to the power button. Refer to your phone’s manual. Mine happens to be at the back beside the usb tray it is a tinyyellow button, other xperia phones have it near the sim tray* 1.Connect your phone to the charger Once you see the sony logo unplug the charger right away Reset the phone by pressing on the phone’s tiny reset button. Use a pointy thing like a pen. Just keep pressing until your phone vibrates (meaning it has restarted) and wait for the logo to appear and reset one more time. Do not plug the charger while you are doing this. Once you see the android logo appear after the sony logo comes up it means that your phone has now powered on. Iv also downloaded an app that makes my volume button to power button. Please note it does not turn on your phone but it works to wake up your screen when your phone is locked or if the phone sleeps after inactivity. The steps above is what i do to turn on the phone if ever my battery runs out or if the phone dies again. I just figured this out after this issue happened with xperia phone and i was able to recover some important files from my old device 🙂

+David C plug in and unplug the charger a few times, then hold the volume up key whilst turning it on (charger plugged in). It should light up then go to the charging screen.

I have tried and the charger has blown the fuse so now I have to buy a new fuse and try with 6 volts .....
Thanks - worked for me on a Z5 compact - only I did crack the glass despite using lots of heat. But at least it's working now.

if its blinking on logo then it might be a software issue. download sony xperia pc companion it will help you out to repair your device.

When you connect the phone a pop up appears showing the device name. However you can also try by going to device manager.

one more way is to install xperia companion suite in your PC and try for software repair. If it doesn't work your motherboard is probably gone.
