- As a family, we love coming together to set off our own fireworks. However, Philip seems to struggle with setting and sticking to a budget when it comes to fireworks. He gets so excited, like a kid in a candy store! This display was only half of what we have planned as a family.

9:28 If the shells fit kind of tight, remove the outer wrapper. Sometimes that helps. ALWAYS !!! make sure you load the shells properly afterwards though. Also, always be sure to lightly tap out your mortar tube on a hard surface before loading another shell.

How many tubes did you get with the mortar kit? Usually you get 4 tubes per set of 24 canisters. They are usually fiberglass. They give you 4 tubes so you can shoot 6 out of each tube. Firing all of the canisters out of one tube puts stress on that tube. You should never ever have to shove it in the tube like that. Use more tubes or buy a mortar rack for your safety going forward. Thanks for sharing your video.
It came with two tubes. Thanks for the information. The second tube did work out a lot better.
@@philipandheather Ya, watching your father in law shove that mortar in scared me 😳 I started out buying that amount of fireworks. With kids it’s not easy to buy a bunch of them. Retired now and enjoy lighting many many fireworks these days!

I’m not 100% sure. I say little over $200.
