  • Stein am Rhein is a lively and very charming small town in Switzerland. It is located at the point where Lake Constance becomes the Rhine River and it famous for its well-preserved Old Town featuring painted facades and half-timbered houses.
Among the sights are the Monastery of St. George, one of the best-preserved Medieval monastery complexes, the Lindwurm Museum depicting 19th century bourgeois and agricultural life as well as the holiday areas and excursion destinations that include the island group of Werd.

Stein am Rhein is very charming with the wonderful painting houses and the narrow alley. Great place to enjoy the medieval vibes. Thank you for bringing closer this lovely town ❤️🇨🇭

Never went there. But after I've seen this video, I have to go there!
The houses look a little bit like Biel, am I right?

Stein am Rhein is a very beautiful village. It's totally visit worthy. I don't think that it looks like Biel, the houses have a different architectural style.

@@VirtualSwitzerland Maybe I was wrong about that.
Would you recommend me to go in the summer or is winter also fine to visit this place?

I would suggest to visit it whenever suits you best. Stein am Rhein is beautiful during all the seasons of the year. If you can visit during December there is a well known Medieval Market there and the village looks like a fairytale place. Totally dreamy!
