KIM SE JEONG talks about ‘how to take a break’ through this album. [I’m] is an album that she has participated in composition and lyrics writing to capture her honest thoughts and feelings she felt as she looks back on her career since debut, having worked without any breaks.
As she has worked on her title track ‘Warning’ she thought to herself ‘it is okay to take breaks’. Everyone feels the limit at some point. But, if you aren’t aware of it and keep on running endlessly, you will be overwhelmed, and the pain will be unbearable. Take breaks when you need one. It will make your next step feel lighter only if you take a break.
In this way, KIM SE JEONG tries to ‘comfort’ with her own color. Don’t we all get comforted by listening to bright and refreshing song at times. She hopes ‘Warning’ would be such song.

타이틀 ‘Warning’ 곡 작업을 하면서 ‘쉬어 가도 괜찮아’라는 생각을 했다고 한다. 사람은 누구나 어느 순간 한계를 느끼는 순간이 있다. 하지만 그때를 눈치채지 못한 채 끝을 모르고 달리다 터져버리면 주체할 수없이 아프게 된다. 쉬어야 할 땐 쉬어 가자, 쉬어야 다음을 나아가는 걸음이 가벼워질 것이다.
이렇게 김세정은 자신만의 색깔로 ‘위로’하려 한다. 우리들은 때론 밝고 청량한 음악을 들으며 위로 받지 않는가. ‘Warning’이 바로 그런 곡이었으면 한다고 그녀는 말한다.

The first time I heard this song I thought it was cute and all fun but after reading the English translation of lyrics, it’s actually more than that...it’s a beautiful and healing song. You see, making sense out of the things happening around us seems to get more difficult with each passing day. Sometimes I don’t even know why I’m still doing what I’m doing. There are days when anxiety and fear would eat me up to the point I just feel empty and paralyzed. With this song, I was reminded to take things slowly, pause, look back to the good memories, and find myself. Listening to this song didn’t magically fix me but it did encourage me to keep going despite the uncertainties of the world right now.
