이번 앨범은 ‘문’이라는 키워드를 중심으로 풀어낸다. 김세정에게는 ‘모든 곳으로 향하는 문(KEY)’, 그리고 ‘모든 것을 감추는 문(LOCK)’이 공존한다. 당장 박차고 나가기엔 두렵지만 그렇다고 이대로만 있기엔 보여주지 못한 것이 너무 많은 지금, 김세정은 다시 한번 ‘문’을 열고 여정을 떠날 예정이다.
‘항해’는 가슴을 두근거리게 하는 미지의 세계로 향하는 열린 ‘문’이다. 뮤직비디오에서는 미지의 세계로 여정을 떠나는 동화 같은 이야기 속의 김세정을 그려낸다. ‘문’을 통해 많은 이들을 만나며 자신의 이야기를 펼치는 김세정, 그녀의 자유분방하고 생동감 넘치는 모습은 영상의 다양한 색감과 축제의 분위기를 통해 극대화된다.
반면, ‘Top or Cliff’는 그동안 ‘문’ 뒤에 감춰 놓았던 김세정의 반전의 모습을 보여주며, 섹시하면서도 강렬한 한 수를 두고자 한다. 뮤직비디오에서는 내면의 갈등을 긴장감 넘치는 스토리 라인과 감각적인 영상미로 표현하며 한 편의 영화를 연상케 한다. 곡 제목처럼 ‘정상’일 수도, ‘절벽’일 수도 있는 아이러니한 감정을 표현한 김세정의 연기는 더욱더 짙은 몰입감을 선사한다.

Aside from Ready or not, there's also The Villainess (korean movie). 3:10 seems to replicate the scene where the assasin/bride is getting ready to kill a target.

For those that don’t know, she got her start as an idol. She was in I.O.I with Somi (group formed after mnet’s produce 101) at the start of both their careers
TFI, I know she was an idol but not dig in too much (thinking she’s like one of average idols out there). I watched “today’s webtoon” and she got my attention. I thought “her acting skill is too good to just being an idol”, but now her singing skill amazed me even more, she’s very talented!

This is such a masterpiece in so many levels ... the metaphor about fight all those negative thoughts that push her to the cliff is genious. All the imagery is top notch, the line she step over points out that hall where she dance alone, the top place, is a trap where she goes by herself. The use of the house where Sejeong first encountered fame or the appearance of teddy bear showing what it is like to be just a puppet in the hands of others. The stab in the back, like the false love of toxic fans who believe they are owners of her life and turn against her as soon as she do something they don't approve of. The dirty sneakers representing her true self before dressing in perfection. The key moment revealing she is fighting herself to be free and authentic in middle of stardom, the smoking to show she has flaws like all of us ... such an incredible piece of art like the song itself. Sejeong-shi, congratulations to you and everyone involved in this gem. You are a brilliant star in my sky.

I had watched the MV so many times before I actually picked up the scene of her fighting herself. I was so blown away each time, so that split second was just too short for me to pick up. Truly such a masterpiece!

I know this is heavily inspired by the movie "ready or not (2019)" but I love the fact there are small changes and so much attention to detail. you can see in the fighting scene for split of second it's sejeong fighting herself. and the elevator scene with the kid. it's absolutely brilliant and of course sejeong is so talented.

I think it's no secret that the western woman really behaves like the devil, while Kim Sejeong fights her inner devil and reflects the characteristics of western women and shows how clean the women back there still tick in their heads. The last part is also very telling “please save that little man”. This is a heavy and very strong concept. You are so amazing Sejeong. You never failed to amaze me. The song has a haunting, eerie vibe to it, which I love and fits her voice perfectly. Really really well done. Also that split second of her fighting with another version of herself instead of the guy at 4:36 was a great touch to a whole fighting sequence that was already amazing.
