the icopod one is easy to expain. the reason to their being so big is because they needed to adapt to the very very strong pressure down there. their normal smaller and weaker bodies couldnt handle all that force pushing down on them. so it required them to become bigger and stronger

you made a minor mistake you said "poisonous prey" you should of said "venomous prey" Plants are poisonous, Animals are venomous. only just learned that myself.

Not true. Poison dart frogs are poisonous. It doesn't matter if plant or animal. Venom is injected, poison ingested via skin or digestion.
