Love the videos!! Especially with you dad!! I've been thru just about all of them!! Fortunately I get to watch some while here at work!! But I realized the time I spend watching these videos the sacrifice you and your family make!! I'm a Marine Veteran so I know what it means to be away from family!! So I wanted to say huge thank you to you and your family for spending all this time making the video and editing all the stuff that comes with it!! I know I know you are a pro angler and this is what you get paid to do, but it takes a lot of time away from family!! I hope you have a ton of positive comments! Haven't watched a bad video yet! Thank you for sending out great info and letting us see you enjoy and have fun at what you do!! #dontshakethemoff

Hi Scott, are you tying the braid directly to your bait when sight fishing? If you are using a leader, what knot are you using to tie the braid to flurocarbon? Also, what size braid were you using? Thanks for your time.

Not trying to brag but I feel me and my father could hang with any angler when it comes to sight fishing. We are an amazing team and know how to get finicky/stubborn bass to hit. There are several methods. One method is to avoid catching the male at all costs. Sometimes catching the male can spook the female off the bed and can hinder your chances of catching her. So if the male grabs your lure, let him run with it and typically he will spit it out outside of the bed. Another method is actualy the opposite. Sometimes you come across a male that is overprotective and will grab your lure each and every time even if it has been caught multiple times. This keeps the female from having a chance to eat your lure. In this case you will actually catch the male and hold him in the live well just long enough to force the female into protecting the bed herself. Once the male is gone for a few minutes the female will step up and protect the nest now that the male is no longer protecting it. Now is your prime time to get her to strike. Keep in mind however that if you hold on to the male too long the female may assume the male is not coming back and she will leave the bed in search of another male. Another method me and my father do is I will cast past the bed. As soon as I have almost worked my lure completely through the bed my father casts past the bed and starts working his lure through the bed. And the pattern repeats. This makes it so that there is always a lure coming through the bed and there is never a moment where there isn't a lure bouncing around in the bed. Trust me.. with a continuous flow of lures coming through the bed..the bass get frustrated and strike off of agitation. I enjoy sight fishing. It's my favorite time of year. That's the time of year I catch the monster. 10 lbs +. I live in Georgia so there are monster bass here
