This is why I don't have friends 😅 I am a people pleaser and I have gotten so exhausted from human interaction that I'm just not willing to put up with B.S. anymore. I am busy raising my daughter who is almost 2 and I deal with anxiety, complex Ptsd and depression, so I have enough to deal with without adding more to my plate and adding extra stress. I am getting much better at recognizing that you can still be a good person without being nice to everyone, because most people are super selfish and don't care about you and are not worth the time anyways. ❤❤❤ Especially now that I am a mother, I have realized how small my circle really is. My adoptive family sucks, there was a reason the state took me from them, I am tired of being gaslit and being made to be the bad guy just because I have learned to stand up for myself or for having a differing opinion. The people around me literally expect me to be their puppet😢🤬 Also, on the food thing, they can at least ask first and YES, so many people will play dumb or gaslight or play victim, when they are the ones in the wrong and instigated the situation in the first place. For some reason when you have a big heart, people think you're stupid and it seems that they try and play with you (mess with you) even more. The amount of harassment and "haters" I get when just driving in traffic or shopping at the store has become beyond ridiculous that I barely even leave the house anymore. It is always something it seems and sometimes I wish I could be as f'ed up and not care like most people, but I have too much to lose and it doesn't make me feel good. I refuse to let people manipulate me and change my personality, especially when they are in need of more self awareness and work themselves than I even need!!! Thank you so much for this pod and the reassurance, you don't even understand how much I needed this tonight! I look forward to the next one 🤗❤❤❤

The first thing my therapist said to me after our second session was “We’ve got to kick that people pleaser out of you!” And I’m still working on it…thank you for sharing and putting awareness out there❤️
