This is the first of the new album songs I trully like. This is like an evolved version of what we love about Dragonforce - it still doesnt strike me as first rate stuff, but that might change when I listen to this song for the 60856th time, like it happened before on occasions. But this is what we need Dragonforce for, this is why they are so popular and why power metal needs them. Not that Doomsday Party stuff, and probably neither Power of the Triforce gimmicks (at least they strike me as such).
Maybe it's because I'm a new fan, but Doomsday Party is actually one of my favorites! I love ZP but Marc is definitely of favorite of the two, and their last two albums have been my absolute favorite so far. Of course I love the older stuff, and DragonForce wouldn't be where it is today without ZP, but imo Marc is the best singer for this band, and this is the best their sound has ever been!

I listen to dragon force first thing in the morning 7 o'clock the missis ain't to keen but my 8 yr old loves it because of saber blade song on the VR hell yes 😂

I have tried so very hard to get back into DF post ZP, but I just don't like this singers voice as much and it kills it for me personally. I still love the musicianship but it doesnt feel like the same party
fair. zp was def a better vocalist but ngl marc's vocals rlly grew on me esp after he dropped his solo album. hes a damn good vocalist hes just got a completely different vibe
Only issue is that ZP is consistently terrible in a live setting, Marc's voice is made for power metal and he, most of the time, nails everything live.
When I first head Marc, I would have agreed with you, but since Reaching into Infinity I think he’s been better than ZP. Live especially, but even on record, his power, range, and absolute command of his voice is second to none in power metal right now. I think he’s not only one of the best metal vocalists in this style but also in metal as a whole

Power of the Saber Blade is also great! I agree with you on Doomsday and Triforce. Can't get into those two.

ZP was trash by comparison. Especially live.
