I am waiting on my Ct-S1 to be delivered this week. My first keyboard I bought was in 1965, yes 1965, I have played lots since then. Casio came along in 1980 and was not the leader by far in comparison. Not until now, this CT-S1 changes things. Lots of things from high priced companies.
Simple, easy to use without all that unnecessary knob turning, button pushing and features just to play. I am getting a red one. Finally something besides boring black. There should be more colors like orange, yellow, blue, light brown and even wood grain. Plastic is plastic easy to color change. What I look at in keyboards is Polyphony #, true sounds of basic instruments. Layering instruments Styles and bang for the buck.
The CT-S1 has awesome polyphony for what sounds are being delivered without having, styles, rhythms and massive combinations that require more polyphony. CT-S1 light weight, take anywhere. Awesome basic sound instruments of Piano, Organ, guitar are fantastic. The synthetic sounds are great like sweet candy and bubble gum for the ears. Organic instrument sounds are fantastic.

You've recorded the sound really well, much better than most, and it sounds great cast from Mac to TV with that linked to decent hifi. What did you use to split headphones and recording please? A longer video would be appreciated as it's so good! Well done and thank you.

I have a question that I am hoping someone can answer for me please.I own a Bluetooth Tronsmart 40w speaker which is capable of recieving any exernal audio bluetooth signal, which has, I suspect, better sound than the onboard speakers of this keyboard. My question is, using the bluetooth adapter (and incidentally can it be any bluetooth usb adapter, or does it have to be the one specifide?) can I send the audio signal from the keyboard to my external bluetooth speaker? and if the answer is yes, is the sound of the keyboard then disabled, or can I have the sound going through the keyboard and external speaker at the same time? If you can answer this, it would be great in helping me decide if this is the keyboard for me. Many thanks

I dont understand what had prevented casio from delivering these soundsets to the buyers....why did casio lag behind, while roland korg and yamaha took centrestage...I would appreciate if anyone wd have any answer.

Just 2-3 yrs ago , they came up with this Aix sound chip which was their game changer .. Earlier they had some crappy sound chips which made them lag behind . But It's still a mystery as to why they didn't do much when they knew that their older sound chips weren't faring well with the competitors.. :( .. They realised and woke up late .. Could be some issues with their R&D teams ..
