  • This video will show you how laser scar removal works. A nice animated video explaining how the SCAAR FX CO2 laser which we use at Travis Shaw MD can help heal patients with scars.

      From what I understand, laser removes scar by creating another scar.

    • @jehoashgacrama4283
      @jehoashgacrama4283 3 года назад +6

      It's to stimulate fibroblasts which induces collagen synthesis. They're stimulated by the presence of wound, like the one the laser gives.

      @@jehoashgacrama4283 So is the tissue destroyed with heat or is there another reason we use laser?

    • @jehoashgacrama4283
      @jehoashgacrama4283 3 года назад +6

      @@patrickj1066 The tissue is indeed destroyed by heat or focused lights emitted by the laser and it goes deep into the layer of the skin such as the papillary layer which contains the fibroblasts. This damage causes inflammation and the chemicals released by that inflammation activates the fibroblasts that synthesize collagen. It's quite similar to microneedling but the best way to get rid of scars for acne would be subscision since the scar tissue can be tethered to a mucsle and that tether needs to be cut off and filled with prp

    ok, s basically, when i was little (like ab probably between the ages of 7 and 9) i had gotten this scar by crashing into a metal object on a slide (lol) witch put a dent(?) in my left side of my face. i had it for a while now, and my ance doctor told me if i wanted to improve how it looks (by making it les noticeable than it kinda already is) i can do laser surgery. but, i wanted to do it a more natural way, so i found this video where if you put vaseline on the scar 2 time a day, it would start to disapear!

      @@Taz-111 Hey Kenny! That's a bit difficult to describe in words I guess. I had one scar from an operation (taking out a basal cell carcinom - probably i wouldn't do it this way either anymore) which cause kind of a high "string" (skin higher where he cut for about 4cm) from the top of my nose to the left eye. Then I lasered once. First it was for a long time burnt. Then it was deepened and the new scar (from laser) was flater than the old one but much wider. The skin is not perfectly smooth again and was very redish or pink. It was like a burnt spot in my face for a long time. now it's getting kinda good though. Still slightly different surface than normal skin but not much. From far probably not visible. From close you see it still pretty good. But as I said, one year more and it might be really pretty good. I hope that helps! If you need to know more send me your email or something and I send you some pics, ok? hope you're well

    Jesus Christ died for all of our sins. He died the death we all deserved. He was the perfect one who never sinned once, but he loved us so much he decided to die for us so our sins would be paid for and we can enter the Kingdom of Heaven before God the Father blamelessly. He is the living son of God who wants to know us and have a personal relationship with us. No matter what you have done no matter how far gone you think you are Jesus can and will save you. All you have to do is confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior. Believe that he died on the cross for your sins and had a bodily resurrection 3 days later. We cannot be saved by our works but by faith in Christ alone. Repent and turn to Christ. You will have joy, happiness, love, and peace beyond understanding.
