Thanks for another relaxing stroll. How great to see the White Horse Inn. My Mum loves the operetta, so the music was played a lot at home when I was growing up. 🎶
That’s so cool! It’s less known in the US where the Sound of Music is a big hit. But the operetta is a classic in Europe 😊👍🌺

One of my favourite places having stayed often but not in the last few years. Video brings great memories of my many visits. Some of the shops, bars, restaurants have changed but not the "heart or fabric of St Wolfgang. Prima!

Apart from a foray into Salzburg by bus and using the boat around the lakes to get to walks my wife and I rarely felt the need to go out of St Wolfgang in all the 17 wonderful Summer breaks we spent there. We were so lucky to stay in the same Gastehaus which had its own bathing area in nearby Reid.

Thank you KV, I’m glad you enjoyed. The one must try restaurant is the White Horse Inn. It’s beautifully situated by the lake. But there are of course many other good places for excellent Austrian food there 👍😋

During the video I was thinking: it's very nice but to me it remember a lot the villages of Switzerland.
You know very well this two countries so I think that you could do a video showing the differences between them. A example: in the Austria a tourist can comunicate speaking only english? The trains is all around like in the Switzerland? The prices (hotels, restaurants...) are similars? There are cable cars to climb up high mountains? There's a "Austria Travel Pass" too? And so on..

Hi Muhammad, thanks for watching again. Yes, I have done some costing and travel savings videos for Switzerland but haven’t done any on Austria yet. I’ll try to do more of these inshallah 👍
Is it as expensive as Switzerland or a little bit cheaper ?
It’s definitely much cheaper. A week in Austria cost me almost half of what I spent in Switzerland. If you avoid peak season you can save even more. Especially food is much more affordable.
When you travel Switzerland/austria so you live in hostel ?

I’m trying to learn German, but can I get by speaking English in Wolfgang? Or would it be better for me to get a tour guide? Im heading to Vienna and want to stop by Wolfgang.
You can definitely get by with English in St Wolfgang. You can get a tour guide but I don’t think you’d need one. They are quite used to international visitors there 👍😊
