This is one of those songs that as a man I feel fine shedding tears - as it's horrible watching the woman a man loves coping with cancer, and there's literally nothing to do but make what few precious hours left as comfortable as possible.
I know if this song was about my wife I want her to know that I'm with her every step of the way. And make her a promise we'll continue to love each other from where we left off another day.

I'm not battling cancer but I'm am battling lupus, rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia every day of my life. I know God will not put any more on me than I can bare. It's a wonderful feeling to have someone to be there during those ruff time and give genuine love to you
