I join with all the praise for this solution and terrific presentation. I just saved our 5 year old saeco thanks to this cleaning lesson! Wow! What a great video! Free espresso if you are in the neighborhood :)
Thank you sooooooooooo much!!! It worked with my Saeco Synthia! It was so frustrating every morning praying the coffee machine would work and only getting a few drops! Life saver! Thank you!!!
I have try everything and nothing worked. So we dicided to buy a new one coming weekend. And then i see this video, i think it works so thank you for the great video!!!!
Millions of thanks!!! Perfect instructions! This morning i was thinking to buy another espresso machine and already calculating my budget:). Now, i followed your instructions and I can say it worked like a charm. The coffee is now flowing normally !!!! Thank you!!!
Thank you so much!! I dont have the exact same Saeco, but I had the same problem. What an easy fix when I knew whats was wrong. Philips should charge me €300 to have my machine fixed. It took me 5 minutes watch your video and then 5 -10 minutes to clean and fix the problem. Your video going to make many people happy and Saeco/philips going to hate you, haha.. :)
Thank you very much, I used the same method on Saeco Odea Go, first I cleaned it with a kitchen sponge and then soaked it in hot water where I put some lemon salt, cleans it well maybe better/faster than vinegar and doesnt smell ;)
Thanks a lot. I made it a year ago and worked like charm. The problem is that I did it again this morning, and I lost the crystal ball accidentally 🙃 I reassembled everything without it and it looks that is working great. Is it important to buy another crystal ball? My machine is almost 10 years old yet.... thanks
Hello, I have the same machine. It was pouring coffee to the container instead of the cup. So I disassambled and removed the "glass ball" from the system. Now it works but it doesnt make any crema during the process. I think the problem is my spring became too hard and the glass ball is not moving with pressure. Is there a way to soften the spring without damaging it ?
@@grzegorzlewandowski1039 Put the metal plate on the flame. The old coffee burn and go out. Or follow this tutorial. ruclips.net/video/o2wu9T7hNHM/видео.html buy some hard glue. You will find a nice mixture of old coffee. When the water ends up in the lower container, it means that there is an obstruction either in the coffee group or in the plastic end part. Unfortunately the machine does not make a great traditional coffee anyway, it uses very little coffee. It is however an excellent robust and practical machine. I performed these maintenance operations after 5 years of use. I never replaced Oring. I'll do it in a few months.
Can you help me to solve a issue related to my Philips Saeco xSmall Coffee Machine? I followed your instructions but I still have problems with my coffee machine. The coffee is flowing very slowly and almost of the water fall into the tray. I descaled the machine, I cleaned it and I followed also your advices but the problem is still there.
@@one2three123 I think I found the problem. I removed the small glass ball and I tried to use the coffee machine without it. The coffee and water is flowing normal. The spring can be the problem?
Problem solved! Not easy to reopen every small hole though, even with compressed air. Thanks for posting this video. Were you trying not to wake the kids up? Its kinda hard to hear what you say.

Wow, thx, glad it helped!
Thank you!! I found that the best way to clean the metal filter was with a small blow torch, it just evaporates all the oils in a matter of minutes.
Thank you sooooooooooo much!!! It worked with my Saeco Synthia! It was so frustrating every morning praying the coffee machine would work and only getting a few drops! Life saver! Thank you!!!
Perfect, did the trick for me too! Complete different machine but same brewing group, so could follow these steps perfectly!
Thanks so much. Kept descaling and it was flowing good. But then I'd brew and it would fail. Screen was pretty clogged. Now it works like a charm.

Thanks, this worked really well. The only issue I still have is that the coffee spout becomes clogged. a needle doesn't fix this problem.

The spring is conical in shape, make sure it is inserted properly and there is nothing obstructing it or the flow
Will a simple T10 torx screwdriver work here or do I need a Security T one?
Thanks thanks thanks!! Solo helpful!! I've saved some money and time. :)
You rock man!
Thanks! I cleaned it perfectly with the stove. But the coffee of this machine is very bad. Little ground coffee and lots of water.
The same us mine. I chanched the orings end it's still the same problem. What should I do to eliminate water from garbage box?

Follow the water pipe and make sure you don't have a leak. If there's no leak try to unclog it with some compressed air.

Yes, the spring could be the problem or the housing for the ball needs cleaning.
