Hello My Friend, HAPPYNEW YEAR 2025 from France ! thanks to be so inspirant ! take care Bro : ) P/S : from Museum visit, like Reals models behinds, and your artist models in front , so fun to see some passionated panzer builders take measurements from real !! From your models already created by you, and the museum models presented, easy to deduce what will be next from your artist hands ! lol
Not only is this Cv90 replacing the Cv90C it's also going to Ukraine directly from the factory as a number of countries are sponsoring new production directly for Ukraine.
Isn’t it replacing the 9040C vehicles sent to Ukraine already and supplementing the military units being stood up in Sweden? Sending the newly produced variants to Ukraine is a bad idea in my opinion, it would be better to send them the remaining 9040C left in Sweden. Not only to keep the newest version out of Russian hands but also to keep the logistic and training streamlined in Ukraine.
@@kristiangoransson6104its very difficult for the Russians to duplicate anything..and specifically the new cv90s, because it’s a hole different system. Sweden had roughly 100 Cv9040C. Sweden could very well send them to Ukraine, but not before they got their new cv90. I don’t think Ukraine worries about a streamlined logistic approach, the they only care about surviving and pushing the Russians out of Ukraine. Anything helps, but with that said. I think Sweden should send more modern cv90 a to Ukraine but it being less of them. I’m mean the cv9030NL is also being used by Ukraine forces rn. And the Cv9035nl is way more modern than the cv9040C…just saying
@kristiangoransson6104 The 50 9035C that I'm talking about in the video is replacing the older Swedish vehicles sent to Ukraine. I assumed AdurianJ talked about future production of CV90 in Ukraine.
Happy New Year to you Erik and your family! I'd love to see your build of a Chieftain - it would certainly give you a headache trying to program the sound board - in more ways than one! I'd be interested to see how those composite tracks work in some real mud, the space looks very small between the grouser bars.
@martingardener90 Thanks a lot, and the same to you! Yeah, the Chieftain is a beauty, but the engine sound might be tricky. 😁 Maybe it's possible to sample from a RUclips video. From what I've heard, the composit tracks work great, I believe Norway has used them for some years now. The benefits are lighter tracks and softer rides with fewer vibrations, the downside is that a full track needs to be changed if damage occurs to one of the pads.
Chieftain a favorite? Ah, a man of culture I hear! I am somewhat saddened by the changing of the Bofors 40 to some foreign made smaller gun, but alas, history marches on, and the 40mm is a venerable old gun, and with our recent membership to NATO, a standardization to their newfangled 35mm might be for the best.
@MatteV2 Yeah, it looks so cool and sounds like nothing else! And when you have researched the Centurion a bit as I did before building the Strv 105, you really can appreciate the differences. Regarding the 40 mm, I agree - it's just the traditionalist in me that sheds a few tears. 😊
@@builtbyWikander For me it's the primal monkey brain going "ook ook big rock!" It's an undeniable fact that the Bofors 40 is simply the bigger package. It delivers more power per shot than most modern guns that rely more on volume of fire than individual impact, but it's also true that that extra power really doesnt count for much, as modern IFVs mostly fight using the guns against infantry in the open, and other medium vehicles, whereas against tanks its the dismounts and ATGMs that do the heavy lifting. So, a big gun isn't really necessary. Or at least that's my somewhat convoluted way to reason about things.
Ok, nu har jag sett hela. Coolt! Det var 3-4 år sen jag körde dit å kollade. Byggde modeller själv i yngre år. Inte så bra som du dock! Nu ska jag kolla dina andra videos!

What it needs: V-hull, 13 degrees away from horizontal, per vehicle half. Double skin hull. Metal foam (hollow, nitrogen filled metal balls encased in metal.) Needs to be amphibious (metal foam helps.) Stain-free (not stainless) steel like S 308C. A 'Sky Ranger' turret that's at least 48 mm caliber to shoot drones out of the air, and a wall with 4 shots.
CV90 is really good looking vehicle! Thanks for new video. Happy New Year to you and yours.
