She’s a vocal monster. One of the hardest songs to sing ever and she absolutely bodied that! Her voice cuts through so well and her range is crazy. She didn’t even do crazy runs, it was just so technically perfect. In complete awe!

@@MaZEEZaM hey it’s a preference! Also being a music major and just going off of technique I enjoy her sound more, at least to me, she has more freedom and technically sounded better to me as well, but of course Celine is iconic and a well-deserved legend.
I so agree with the crazy runs she didn't even care to perform, her pitch perfect range itself was enough to embody us with this performance.
That clarity of tone when she sings and holds “maaaaade” It’s what made the rest of the judges turn around at same time. Incredible voice.
When I heard Cassie McIver create her incredible performance of "It's All Coming Back To Me Now," I was simply stunned. I went back and listened to other versions, the original by Pandora's Box (just OK), the duet with Meatloaf and Marion Raven, (most romantic with the two voices), and, of course, the beautiful (but slightly over the top) version by Celine Dion. Very Frankly, I like Cassie's compact version the best. I haven't seen the rest of The Voice Australia to find out why she was eliminated. Perhaps Keith Urban wasn't the best selection as a coach or "Skyfall" wasn't the best song for her at this point of the competition. Whatever. This lady needs to be given a wider platform.

I used to see so many extremely talented singers on these shows that I often thought that they were stars that for some reason hadn't had their time to shine but now they will. Then I hear a professional sing the same song and almost immediately could hear an obvious difference in abilities. Not taking anything away from the unknown singer because they are very talented but the pro's voice had so much more depth and was so much better. After seeing that and hearing that happen many times I started to be able to notice and hear the ones that had that little bit more of something special. That pro sound. This woman has that extra. She has a pro's voice without a doubt. I don't know what it is but it is a tangible thing. It only happens every couple of years though but after watching this I know that it has happened again. I don't know that she will be a star but she no doubt has that extra little something that only a handful of the most elite singers have. I don't know what it is exactly but this woman has it for sure.
None on that chairs can compare with her. What a voice, what a talented singer.
